Welcome to Launch Digest, where we bring you the latest and greatest product launches to hit the market across the DTC universe. My inbox is brimming with launches that somehow relate to Barbie – I’ve learned that anything pink can be pitched as a timely tie-in to the monocultural moment – but because I care about you and your tolerance for Barbie mania, I’m filtering wisely. You won’t catch superfluous shades of pink in this edition. You may, however, find some shades of orange (of the canned wine variety), rose (via sublingual tincture), and a few Barbie-coded Manolo Blahnik-esque footwear choices, as is my wont. And plenty of sales. Onward!

Did Someone Say Seasonal Footwear Refresh?
Whether you’re channeling the collective Carrie or Barbie energy, it’s never the wrong cultural moment to upgrade your shoe closet. This week, we’ve got plenty to choose from.
Alohas, the sustainable footwear label known for its chic knee-high boots that have considerably swept Instagram (and that look just as good in person as they do via the digital image-making machine), just launched its first collaborative capsule with longtime muse and friend of the brand Belen Hostalet. Edited with fourteen timeless styles designed to transition seamlessly from day to night, the patent Por Do Sols (now $154, on sale for the collection pre-order) might give Carel and Repetto a run for their money – for almost half the price. If you like a little height, the Beijos transform a d’orsay silhouette into a distinctly modern classic. There’s a Barbie pink too, don’t worry.
For shoes that look like they were designed exclusively for going on sexy and fabulous dates, look no further than Maile, the AAPI-founded footwear brand that recently launched its first collection as a romantic, contemporary take on 90s kitten heel culture. Sign me up. The most Barbie-esque picks? The unabashedly feathered etsu ($380), flirty but demure pony ($430), and elegant kiyo ($450). While you’re there, you might have to throw in the delicate pink Maxine Anklet ($38). Sorry, I’m a bad influence.
Nomadica Encourages A Skin-Contact-Heavy Summer, $110 per 12 cans
Nomadica, the sommelier-owned wine label based in Los Angeles, just launched its newest canned creation: an Italian-inspired skin contact made with organic California grapes. The new Orange wine is an enchanting blend of Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner, and Albariño grapes, offering tropical pineapple and jackfruit notes with a delicate orange blossom and chamomile fragrance. The wine is, like all of Nomadica’s other complex and delicious creations, available in a four-pack of cans ideal for your next breezy park picnic or backyard dinner party. BYOB just got four times more sophisticated.
Frankies Bikinis And Guizio Turn Up The Heat And Leave Little To The Imagination
Frankies Bikinis is obsessed with a strategic partnership – and for good reason. From their collaboration with Sydney Sweeney to a capsule designed with Pamela Anderson, the brand knows how to consistently turn out scroll-stopping launches. Its latest? A romantic collection co-created with New York-based Guizio, complete with delicate crochets and skimpy floral bikinis designed to be shown off, whether you’re in Malibu or Rockaway. It’s an offering to amp up the last few months of your beach-oriented lifestyle, and a reminder to revisit Guizio’s overtly sexy corsets, mini-dresses, and micro-mini skirts. Because it’s 90 degrees, and we might as well have a little fun.
I Spy A Tincture Tete-A-Tete
Wellness brand Apothékary just launched a “Rosé-Tinted Glasses” tincture this week ($39.99), a glycerine-based tincture formulated to uplift and energize your disposition. It’s made with schisandra, rosehip, Siberian ginseng, and lion’s mane, and seems suspiciously similar in name to Wooden Spoon Herbs’ longstanding Rose-Colored Glasses tincture ($29), while also borrowing some formula notes from WSH’s Light Ray drops. Of course, there are only so many tried and true herbal permutations, so I won’t make any accusations. But perhaps Apothékary should have ideated on a more original title for its new tincture.
Abbondanza: The Sales Don’t Stop
While you can now spiral with me through the best sales on the internet via our new column, The Sweep, sometimes the sales are so snappy (and so abundant) that I have to call them out here, too. It’s unclear how long any of these will last, so let me be the first to tell you: buy that heavily discounted swimsuit (or necklace, or voluminous cotton dress that belongs on your next vacation) now.
Nu Swim is running up to 65% off some seriously classic swimwear (I’m wishing this were still available in my size, but you might be the lucky one.)
Eytys’ Summer Sale is live – snap up seriously discounted Fall footwear and plenty of wardrobe staples (and statement pieces) alike. We’re talking 60% off.
Wolf Circus’ sample sale is moving fast, and for good reason. It’s just too easy to justify a necklace, ring, or pair of earrings that gracefully toes the fine line between timeless and trendy and just so happens to be sub-$100.
If you are anything like me and want to aspirationally live in Sea New York’s effortlessly chic cotton eyelet gowns, blouses, and floral swimwear, now’s the time to invest in your dream life. Get an extra 20% off an already great sale with the code FINAL23. (If the code is any indication, these deals will end soon.)
Happy shopping. Email me directly – zoe@thequalityedit.com – with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
