Launch Digest: Coffee for the End of the World, Sunnies for Rich Mom Walks, Sober Sparkling Orange Wine, and a Lemony Summer Ahead

Welcome to Launch Digest, where we bring you the latest and greatest product launches to hit the market across the DTC universe.

Launch Digest Fam! Last week, we took a break last week for some serious R&R, but now we’re back with even more serious launches. You’ll find some highlights from last week, brand newness, strangely popular fandom, April Fools’ jokes, and a continued obsession with the flavor of the season (it’s lemon). There’s obviously more where that came from, but you can’t finish something you don’t start.

It’s a Good Day to Try Something New

“They” say that trying something new every day can keep your brain more activated and even up your mood. From skincare to skincare-makeup to sauce, new things came into the brand-osphere.

Credit: Saint Crewe, Biotech Beauty
  • Experimentation is so, so great. But over-experimenting with harsh actives on young skin can be like, not so great. Saint Crewe is coming in to rescue everyone who has been overdoing it on the acids and the retinols, delivering derm-tested, clinically backed skincare for the skin-curious.
  • Get Saucy™ is not your average sauce brand. You won’t find the top nine allergens, nightshades, preservatives, gums, or seed oils in any of their products, making them Autoimmune Protocol (AIP), Paleo, Whole 30, Mediterranean/MIND, and plant-based-compliant. Their Tikka Masala is the first in the line to make an appearance, but there’s a lot more on its way.
  • Biotech is leading the charge in 2025 as it relates to beauty, skincare, haircare, and supplementation. Biotech Beauty is the microbiome-friendly makeup brand that has us blushing with the ultimate combo of beauty and skincare. The Founder (and biochemist) Alanna Tran used to formulate products at Biossance and lead makeup marketing at L’Oréal, so this is the real deal.

Just So You Know…

I’ll be honest with you, there is no theme for the below other than they are brands we j’adore doing things we j’adore…so I guess it’s just worth you staying in the know, so you can j’adore them too.

  • Any friend of Kaia Gerber’s is a friend of ours (and maybe anyone’s). Malibu-based, sustainable luxury brand Bleusalt added new pieces to their Kaia Gerber Collection. They look good and do good, with 10% of proceeds benefitting A Sense of Home.
  • Vyrao has bewitched us over and over again with their neuroscience-backed, brain-changing scents. They have finally mini-fied one of their most whimsical scents with Mini Woo: The Sixth. It’s uplifting (and even comes with its very own mantra).
  • A few weeks back, cookie icon Levain Bakery brought back its most popular cookie of 2024. Now, they’re serving up something totally new with Dinner Service. The Cookie Capsule Collection is sustainable, comfy, cozy, and will make you feel full from the inside out.
  • REFY is raising eyebrows and the beauty stakes with their fully remastered Brow Sculpt. It delivers a 12-hour sculpted hold with a flake-free, sweat-proof, heat-proof, and waterproof finish.
  • OneSkin is all about healthy aging when it comes to our skin. But now they’re getting to the root of aging with their OS-01 HAIR Peptide Scalp Serum, which leverages their proprietary OS-01 peptide to target cell senescence and keep things flowing and growing.

“Dazzling Images on a Huge, Silver Screen”

Credit: Beauty Creations, Wild

Nicole Kidman once said, “We come to this place… for magic.” And we so have. This week, there were some Hollywood-level collaborations rolling out the red carpet for new fandom that will fit in your closet and your coffee cup.

  • Let’s be honest with ourselves: the Barbie phenomenon may never go away. With their new Barbie™ Collection, Beauty Creations has made it very easy to get all “dolled up.”
  • Anyone else ramped up for the new season of The Last of Us? Four Sigmatic synced up with HBO to get our attention with The Last of Us High Caffeine Organic Ground Coffee. With ingredients like vit B12, lion’s mane, cordyceps, and coffee bean extract, expect to be FULLY alert for April 13th’s premier.
  • There aren’t a million ways to be a cool “Disney Adult,” but there’s at least one way…and that’s with Stoney Clover Lane’s Disney Princess Collection. This way, you can give all of your accessories a little extra bippity boppity boo.
  • Wild is doing big things, y’all. Other than getting acquired by Unilever, the refillable body-care brand went down the rabbit hole with a whole new Alice in Wonderland Scent Launch. Smell the whimsy without any hallucinations whatsoever.

Joking Not Joking

Credit: SET Active, Grindr

Is it just me, or have we all started to take April Fools’ Day for granted? Well, joke’s on you because this week, some brands were not kidding when they went “full prank.”

  • SET Active took “looking like you’ve worked out” to a whole new level with their WET SET, claiming to be “pre-saturated” with their proprietary “H2SET™ technology.”
  • Erewhon’s $19 strawberry has made waves on social media. But what about a $19 strawberry fruit snack? Welch’s® Fruit Snacks understood the assignment with a $19 strawberry of their own.
  • ONE/SIZE got XXXtra sexy with Grindr, releasing an On ‘Til Dawn Hook-Up Proof Setting Spray. Built-in ruler on the can included (for the things that really matter in life).

Making Lemon Drop Martinis Out of Lemons

Credit: Graza, Jenny Lemons

Strawberry really had a moment this winter, and while that moment may never die, lemon is taking over for spring, and we’re prepared to pucker up.

  • Get you a cookie that can do both. Fancypants just dropped Lemon Tart and Strawberry Shortcake to their roster for an Easter-meets-spring-meets-can be eaten anytime-moment.
  • Cutwater dropped a drop with a canned Lemon Drop Martini, boasting 11% ABV and Cutwater’s award-winning vodka. Refined enough to lift your pinky. Hardcore enough to take to any barbecue or tailgate.
  • Graza and cracker connoisseur Firehook teamed up for an epic Olive Oil, Lemon & Chive Cracker for more dipping and drizzling that packs a punch and a crunch (get it at your local Whole Foods!).
  • Accessories designer Jenny Lemons came up with some fully baked goodies for your hair, head, and keys with Magnolia Bakery with the Sweet Treats Collection. While no actual lemons are present, Jenny Lemons was sweet enough for us.

Chill for a Second

Credit: Cann, Oddbird

With mercury still in retrograde (yes, it feels like it’s always in retrograde), it’s time to chillax. This week, some of our favorite non-alc brands gave us a new way to cope.

  • Over the past two weeks, Cann has been busy at work, launching two newbies to their lineup: Cann Canns + Yuzu Elderflower. The Cann Canns are the brand’s first foray into gummies, giving Cann’ers an on-the-go option for when they need a microdosing moment.
  • For those in need of more a…macrodosing moment, BRĒZ has iterated upon its OG, providing Extra Strength. Infused with 10mg THC, 20mg CBD, and 2,200mg of lion’s mane, this updated signature blend offers an even more unique feeling of euphoria, clarity, and relaxation with no hangovers or regrets.
  • Orange wine season is back, baby! Non-alc brand Oddbird has just released the world’s first , natural, non-alcoholic sparkling orange wine—Low Intervention Sparkling Orange Nº1. It’s been crafted by winemakers in Alsace, France, so you never have to feel like you’re giving a fraudulent “cheers.”

Before You Go…

Credit: Spring & Mulberry, QUAY

You can never have too much of a good thing, so we figured we’d just keep going.

  • Spring & Mulberry and Underwater Weaving Studio Basket created a Limited Edition Gift Basket for an elevated Easter, Mother’s Day, or housewarming party move that will keep all hidden Easter eggs…hidden (because no one will want to look for them).
  • FabFitFun is making it easy to nix the guesswork for Mother’s Day, and throw a million high-end, highly selected self-care and lifestyle products at the mothers in your life (whom you love). Their Spring Advent Calendar is chalkful of next-level brands, including Augustinus Bader, Voluspa, and Saturday Skin.
  • Omorovicza has already come out with a serum made of literal diamonds, but now, they’re upping the stakes. Their new Elixir has been clinically proven to boost collagen production by 26% (!) in just 24 hours, thanks to the most potent dose yet of their patented Healing Concentrate™.
  • Sol de Janeiro launched a Limited-Edition Perfume Collection, featuring three day-to-night scents to get you into holiday mode for the summer.
  • Tinx sees all, which is why it totally makes sense that she collaborated with QUAY for a Tinx Edit. All six styles have been hand-selected by the queen of gab herself for a capsule collection that will make you feel like you’re about to rack up followers on your next “rich mom walk.”

Happy shopping. Email annie@thequalityedit.com with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
