Welcome to Launch Digest, where we bring you the latest and greatest product launches to hit the market across the DTC universe.

Happy Spring Equinox! Yesterday marked the only day of the year where the day is as long as the night, which meant that brands had a little extra time to fill our inboxes with drops upon drops upon drops. This week, we saw a huge emphasis on spring—well—everything: spring scents, spring bodycare, spring fashion, and spring cleaning. Spring has finally…sprung.

Newness Is Upon Us

Credit: Good Weather Skin, Bauen

Feast your eyes on a whole bunch of “new,” never-before-seen brands this week, including a sunscreen that took two years to formulate, a tea based on ancient wisdom for the new gen, and high-quality kids’ furniture that is as chic as it is safe.

  • “Clean” SPF is not a novel concept, but a clean SPF that isn’t impossible to rub in or doesn’t leave a white cast can seem like a needle in a haystack. Good Weather Skin took two years to formulate The One Daily Sun Cream for a luxuriously smooth, skin-loving SPF (that boasts 15% of zinc oxide, which is hard to find!). It can be used in tandem with serums and moisturizers sans pilling and with added hydration.
  • With sober curiosity on the rise, it’s about time there was more of a communi-tea. Kura Klub is flagging that ancient wisdom doesn’t need to be reserved for our parents’ parents’ parents. You’ll find functional herbal blends for Energy, Metabolism, and Calm, keeping things super simple so you can start a whole new ritual.?
  • Any parent knows that for a child, a chair isn’t a chair, but rather a deadly weapon that can become a crisis if pulled, touched, or bumped against incorrectly. Bauen was made for parents by parents to create toddler-friendly furniture that is tip-resistant, toxin-free, tool-free, easy to clean, and nice to look at (whether you’re indoors or out!).

Care “Down There” and Everywhere

Credit: Augustinus Bader, DIVA

Whether you’re working top-down or bottom-up, these brands have you literally covered from head to toe (with some having you spend a little more time on the nether regions!).

  • Menstrual care brand DIVA has already made its name in the period cup space. Now, it’s focusing its attention onto pelvic wellness with its new Vulva Hydration Care Line. From cleansers to lube, you’ll find everything you need to keep your most sensitive skin resilient (for your next pilates class when your teacher says, “Zip up from the pelvis!”).
  • Anything Augustinus Bader does is a big deal in our book, and their latest The Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is no exception. This non-nano zinc and titanium oxide formula is powered by AB’s potent TFC8® for the most expensive SPF you might/should buy. Who said aging gracefully was cheap?
  • K-beauty always seems to have the answers to our questions. The very viral Dr. Althea just dropped the Pore Refresh Grinding Cleansing Balm, an iteration of their OG Pure Grinding Cleansing Balm. This new balm uses Dr. Althea’s signature grinding mechanism to work deeply into the pores while gently removing makeup and delivering a hydrating finish into the skin.
  • Who said deodorant was for armpits only? Luna Daily is going full-body with The All Over Deodorant, which is meant to be used across boobs, armpits, inner thighs, and literally anywhere else you sweat. It has skin-balancing ingredients that also prioritize maximum hydration—on the go, on a date, or after the gym.

Beauty Is in the Eyes (and Bags) of the Beholder

Credit: Kulfi, Stoney Clover Lane

All eyes are on…eyes this week. Some brands focused on our lashes, some focused on our skin, and some focused on the things we’d need to carry all of the things making our winks and blinks beautiful.

  • Don’t blink! You might just miss this very glowy drop. RéVive Skincare has introduced its Brightening Eye Cream Under Eye Illuminator—the counterpart to their bestselling Vitamin C Brightening Serum, which launched last year. It leans on a more stable form of vit C to visibly reduce wrinkles and refine texture.
  • Kulfi is makeup that is made to be inclusive of the boldest, the baddest, and the bravest (we’re obsessed with their Eyeshadow). They just launched their newest addition—Badi Lash Mascarawhich makes your eyes POP with lash-lengthening ingredients for healthier lashes over time (and it’s super easy to remove!).
  • If you want to look like you’ve been made up by a makeup artist, you may as well get glam-worthy makeup that was created by one. Makeup By Mario’s Mario Dedivanovic released his Master Mascara for lashes with extra volume, extra lift, and extra lasting effect.
  • Stoney Clover Lane has been giving us the warm and fuzzies with their playful, personalized bags, pouches, and totes, but now, sisters Kendall and Libby Glazer have made their mark on leather. Their new Leather Collection is playful, fun, and professional at the same time, so there’s something for everyone.

Smells Like Spring Spirit

Credit: Evereden, Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris

Wow, everyone is, like, so obsessed with spring scents, you guys. Our senses piqued and peaked this week with hair and body mists that are age-agnostic and adult fragrances that will make you feel young again.

  • Two weeks ago, we noticed that hair fragrance was something to talk about. Evereden is joining the cause with Hair & Body Fragrance Mists that smell good enough to attract a lover, but are clean enough for a teenager to use (and not attract a partner!!).
  • Now, for a fragrance that is for adults who are young at heart, parfumier Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris dropped Kurky, inspired by Francis’ childhood. It’s giving tutti-frutti peach and raspberry alongside creamy musks and vanilla silage. Google tells me “how fun” in French is comme c'est amusant.
  • We have already tried and tested Vyrao’s Mamajuju perfume…but now we’re making a big deal about a tiny production with their Mini Woo: Mamajuju, the 30ml version of the main squeeze. It’s more accessible for those looking for an earthy boost to ground their minds, bodies, and souls for spring.

More Spring Flings

Credit: Varley, SET Active

There is something about spring (bringing it up again) that makes us all want to feel more vibrant, more daring, more active, more ....young (?). The below launches are fashion-forward, getting us inspired to do all of the above.

  • Ready, SET…go! SET Active’s latest collection—SET in Motionwas designed with runners in mind. It features SET's iconic Sculptflex and Airluxe fabrics plus new accessories like a hat, socks, and a fanny pack to elevate your run-ready look…especially if you’re gearing up for an upcoming marathon (*looking at you, Boston*).
  • Are you a hometown hero, who sometimes believes they were a lord of Dogtown? MOTHER Denim’s third Spring Drop was inspired by the thrill of BMX tracks and motocross circuits, revving us up with turbo-charged fonts and racing stripes. BRB. Half-piping and then going to get a froyo.
  • There’s “da club,” and then there’s “the club.” Varley is taking us to the club with their Club Collection, which is perfect for anyone who saw Challengers, wanted to then learn to play tennis, but then realized that tennis is actually hard, so would rather just dress like they play tennis instead (but it’s still versatile enough to actually play tennis in!!).
  • Did somebody say…”festival season?!” Miss Me’s latest Desert Auras Collection is for people who have lived through the early 2000s, and also for people who never lived through the early 2000s (which is wild that those people are now old enough to go to festivals!). Very Tara Reid. Very Lindsay Lohan. Very MK and Ash.

Before You Go…

Credit: Monday Swimwear, Baobab Collection

That was a lot to take in. Room for a little more?

  • Balmuda has managed to make anything regular beautiful while also still very simple. Their newest iteration, The Moonkettle, is the place where precise temperature control and ancient tea rituals meet. Its seamless design will make you feel calm, even if you’ve yet to pour.
  • Two of our favorite things are champagne and denim, so what’s not to love about Monday Swimwear’s Champagne Denim drop? It provides enough structure to be functional and enough sexiness to make you feel like you’re always in vacation mode.
  • Baobab Collection is setting the scene for a fully French summer with the Côte d’Azur Collection, which genuinely uses 24-carat gold on its screen-printed design.
  • Kosas got our heads in the clouds with their new Cloud Set Mist, a setting mist that doubles as a skin hydrator, locking in makeup for 12 hours without clogging pores. Even with its daylong wear, it keeps skin’s breathability and helps to improve skin texture and the appearance of pores over time.
  • HUM Nutrition is having an epic 30% off sitewide sale until 3/31, so you can finally try their Flatter Me Fiber GLP-1 Booster.

Happy shopping. Email annie@thequalityedit.com with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
