From tariffs to taxes, this week was giving “death and taxes” energy in “abbondanza,” as I always say. Even as brands held their breath—wondering if they’d be able to keep giving the people what they want—new things broke through, reminding us that the heart of capitalism and e-commerce continues to beat on (which means our hearts can continue to beat—as long as our credit cards continue to go through).
So what did we notice? Sure, we just hit spring, but summer fun is already shining its rays on our carts, brand collabs are taking it up a notch (and even painting it up a notch), there isn’t just one flavor to keep your palettes on for the upcoming season, and celebrities continue to roll out the red carpet for our skin.
We like
We don't like
New Things in Bloom

This week was all about new things that would force us to be the better version of ourselves with the literal better versions of basic things we just assume can’t be better (but really can be, which is why they’re now better).
- “How do you tend to your garden?” Bleume wants your answer to be “well, cleanly and non-toxically, of course.” Founded by a lifelong landscape designer, Bleume is all about making fertilizing as easy as watering with their titular Liquid Plant Food. It’s gentle and nourishing, relying on micronutrients to make your plants (including your shower eucalyptus) as healthy as possible.
- Great news: Jiggly things in pudding cups are now cool again. Oddball is “breaking the mold” with a better-for-you version of Jell-O (and they’ve got the flavors to prove it). No more food colorings or artificial flavors—just real ingredients and no gelatin, carrageenan, added sugars, alternative sweeteners, or preservatives.
Big Beach Energy

The world is kinda on fire, but is anyone else finding themselves saying, “I think this might be the best summer of my life”? With new swimwear, new spf, and new summer sleepcare, it’s fair to say there’s still a chance we can ride a good wave.
- Wear less, live more…or at least that’s what we plan on doing with Bydee’s Viva La Vida Collection, which is inspired by the dynamism of Cartagena and the beauty of the Rosario Islands for a “living in this for the rest of summer” vibe.
- In the vein of living more, Blackbough Swim dropped its Agua Fresca + Henna Collections with bold, juicy prints that go beyond swimwear, instead making you feel like a 90s pixie frolicking in a Marc by Marc Jacobs fragrance commercial.
- Self-tanning brand Dolce Glow has taken SPF to the next level with its SPF Mineral 50 Balm, or—as they’re calling it— “Skin Couture.” (We’re obsessed). It melts seamlessly into skin for a luminous sheen, infused with skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and antioxidants.
- In order to be—as Demi Lovato once said— “Cool for the summer”—one must lean on something figuratively and literally cool…like…silk. Slip unveiled its High Tide Collection with a full silk suite of summer-infused eye masks, pillow cases, and scrunchies for a frizz-free, smooth a** season.
Collectors Items and Collaborations

With the way things are going at the moment, it’s important to have things you can properly hold onto and hold CLOSE (before someone takes it away!!). This week, there were classic brands showing us new ways to engage with them alongside new collaborations that are anything but mainstream (you’ll get the stream pun very shortly).
- This week, I met someone who said that their guilty pleasure is the Flamingo Estate subscription box. They were whispering when they told me this, so I didn’t push, but after seeing the Spring 2025 Hawai’i Islands Subscription Box, I totally get it. This box specifically celebrates the holistic, regenerative approach of Hawai’i’s food system, expressing admiration for the care with which the land is being tended to.
- Whether you’re in need of a Mother’s Day gift, or you just want to Bob Ross it up in your life, Brightland’s Paint & Pour Kit is the perfect way to forget the real world exists. You can make the iconic bottle your own with your own design, so even when there’s no oil left, you can still pour one out for the good times.

- If you have a fancy friend who loves birthday dinners, then you likely have been invited to a Mr. Chow in your lifetime. If you couldn’t attend (out of fear of splitting the bill), that’s fine because bodycare baddie Uni has dropped a Limited Edition Mr. Chow Exclusive Handwash infused with a signature fragrance that will make your hands feel like they’re about to grab onto some serious $$$.
- Jennifer Aniston says, “Jump,” and you say, “How high” while wearing one of her resistance bands. Together, Pvovle and Jennifer Aniston joined forces to launch the Sculpt Anywhere Bundle, which is designed for workouts anytime, anywhere (and inspired by Jennifer’s very busy lifestyle).
- Bon Iver’s new album SABLE, fABLE is live tuh-day, so it’s only natural that our fishy friends at Fishwife collab’d with Bon Iver himself for a Smoked Salmon Duo, a limited-edition smoked salmon in a special box that you’ll 100% want to add to your collection. Just press play and take a bite.
Savor the Flavor of Summer

Last week, I was so certain that lemon was going to be the moment for the upcoming season. But, I’m kind of ready to stand corrected based on this week’s launches. From cherry to s’mores to carrot cake to more lemon, it seems we’re taking a fully nostalgic approach to our taste buds as the weather warms up.
- A good self-care routine is the cherry on top, which is why Kitsch unleashed its Cherry Collection, which fully embodies a bright, playful seasonal foray of things that you can leverage from head to toe.
- Nowadays is serving a different kind of vibe—while still juicy (but also effervescent). The Limited Edition Cherry Soda Cocktail has 5mg THC to balance the bright with the buzzy and the balanced.
- “Let them eat cake!” Salt & Straw said. Just in time for Easter and Mother’s Day, S&S is letting us scream for ice cream with The Carrot Cake. It has every layer imaginable—cream cheese frosting, cinnamon-spiked, house-baked, roasted carrot cake, cake crumbles, and a pecan oatmeal streusel.
- Sweet Loren's is bringing back its fan-fave in the form of the Limited Edition Lemon Pre-Cut Cookie Dough, which uses real lemon to bring back all of those memories from your early morning lemonade stands in the summer.
- If you won’t find yourself around an actual campfire this summer, fret not. La Colombe® just released their S’mores Draft Latte with 50% less sugar. It’s giving full graham cracker, toasted marshmallow, and rich cocoa in every sip (no sticks, gooey mess, or fire danger involved).
- Some people wait all year until it’s appropriate for them to order a mojito again. Little Saints is bringing back its 2024 favorite with the Little Saints Mojito, which relies on functional ingredients to support the mind and the body (think: damiana, reishi, and zero sugar).
A New Way to Carry Yourself

The warmer months bring a certain lightness of being, which means no more dredging around heavy bags with a million layers. The latest bag drops are bringing levity to our
- What do innovative jewelry and nicotine lozenges have in common? Well, aside from founders who went to high school together, Jones and Monbouguette put their heads together to create a Sterling Pillbox based around Jones’ Signature Travel Tin.
- Travel expert CALPAK is taking family travel to the next level with the Baby Weekender Duffel + Crossbody Diaper Bag that are lightweight, mega-functional, and will make you want a baby (if you don’t have one) just so you can have use for these bags.
- Ethical luxury handbag and jewelry brand AGCF dropped its Spring 2025 Collection, which is all about finding the balance between contrasts. 20% of all profits are going towards supporting women and children.
Honestly, Just Add to Cart Already

On days where you’re supposed to be doing work, but can’t bear the thought of doing work…but your computer is open and you want to feel productive….well, that would be a good time to just start opening tabs and adding things to cart. These are our favorites for the week.
Before You Go…

No, no, no! Don’t go! I miss you already! Just to drag this out a little longer, look what else is happening…(Hint: It includes John Legend and Lili Reinhart!).
- Peace Out dropped their overnight Bio Collagen Recovery Mask that works while you sleep, so your skin can whistle while you work.
- Lili Reinhart’s very own Personal Day announced the launch of the Unplug Blackhead-Melting Nose Strips, which manage to melt away blackheads from within without stripping the skin (like the old-school nose strips). Lili would never!

- What can’t John Legend do? His personal care brand Loved01, which caters to the needs of Black and Brown skin, released The Brightening Serum + Soothing Wipes, offering nourishing, gentle support for any #SeasonalSkinShifts.
- Finding Ferdinand dropped a Mother’s Day-inspired Morphosis Balm Set (which can last far beyond Mother’s Day). All three lip balms are botanical-infused and adapt to your unique pH (which we find to be phabulous).
- No, you shut up! Tate's Bake Shop has gone soft on us, unleashing their Soft Baked Cookies for the first time ever in two chocolate-forward flavors—a revelation for anyone looking to avoid anything “hard” at the moment.
