Trade Out Your Tinned Fish For Caviar, And Other Festive Suggestions

Credit: Fishwife

Let’s start in your kitchen, because the sheer number of edible launches this week is shocking. Perhaps most importantly: Fishwife launched Caviar. Made in partnership with Tsar Nicoulai, it’s 100% traceable, responsibly harvested from California White Sturgeon, and arriving just in time for your holiday hosting and gifting needs. Because $40 Smoked Salmon is the gateway drug to $99 Caviar. Fly By Jing launched a Winter in Sichuan Advent Calendar featuring 12 days of surprise flavors, three of which are brand new (hand-picked by founder Jing Gao in Chengdu this past summer).

Siesta, best known for their terrific Spanish conservas, launched Iberico this week. Made from acorn-fed, free-range Iberian pigs, the Jamón Ibérico de Bellota is Spain’s most treasured delicacy. It’s earthy, savory, subtly-sweet, cured for four years, and the soon-to-be star of your next charcuterie board. Sauz launched a gluten-free, non-GMO Cracked Pepper and Parmesan tomato sauce (and you can now find it in Target nationwide).

Celebrity tequila is so 2022. Tom Holland is following Katy Perry’s booze-free lead; he just launched an NA beer brand. If you’re more the Sleepy Girl Mocktail type, Moon Juice added a Cherry flavor to its Sleepy MagnesiOm lineup. Best paired with Tart Cherry juice and a squeeze of lemon, on the rocks.

If you thought Flamingo Estate couldn’t top its limited-edition Jane Goodall honey, think again. Last summer, Flamingo Estate placed their bee hives in artist Ed Ruscha’s grove of citrus trees next to his studio in Culver City. The product of the bees’ steady work between Kumquat and Lime trees? 400 bottles of Ed Ruscha Honey – all of which, I’ve just heard, have already sold out. A major win for the 100% of profits that are going to the Mojave Desert Land Trust, which works to maintain and protect the California landscape for generations to come.

Credit: Flamingo Estate, Rocco

Las Jaras and Rocco launched a collaborative wine fridge, which also comes stocked with a Las Jaras Wine Club membership (translation: 6 bottles of wine) and a 6-pack of WAVES. If you haven’t yet been tempted to invest in Rocco’s very sleek, dual-temp-controlled beverage fridge, maybe a stockpile of natural wine will win you over.

Wreaths & Candy Boxes For Your Beauty Routine

It’s peak gifting set season. Saie’s leading the charge with a $240 Candy Box for the most ardent lip liner and lip gloss lovers. For a lighter lift, see the Glossybounce Wreath. Waiting on a menorah packed with Slip Tint, Dew Blush, and Lip Blur

Credit: Saie, Tata Harper

In other holiday news, Tata Harper partnered with Moonsisters on a 2025 Cosmic Beauty Calendar. Each page uses the phases of the lunar cycle to offer beauty ritual recommendations – an apt collaboration for a skincare brand that sources, formulates, and manufactures each product on its farm in Vermont. Send this to your friend who schedules their haircuts according to the astrological state of the planets and stars.

Misting isn’t just for the summer. Symbiome launched The Essence, a rejuvenating mist formulated with microbial lysates and enzymes to fight oxidative aging, improve skin tone and elasticity, and combat winter dryness. Petite enough to carry with you for a spritz on demand.

Eauso Vert launched its eighth fragrance, Dos Mil Años, a bright, tangy, evergreen homage to a Oaxacan cypress tree. If you’re still confused as to what exactly that smells like, think grapefruit, cardamom, nutmeg, hazelnut, and clove, tethered by pine and eucalyptus. Speaking of pine – Vacation launched The Royal Pine Deluxe Candle yesterday. Intended to transport you to some very expensive mountain chalet, by a fireplace, champagne in hand.

Before You Go…

There’s more. Cult-favorite non-toxic cleaning brand Koala Eco launched its first Laundry Wash, a biodegradable and eco-friendly formula that’ll leave your linens smelling like mandarin and peppermint with zero harsh chemicals.

Credit: Keiko Furoshiki, Koala Eco

Because we’re going to be consumed by gifting from now through December, we need to talk about gift wrapping. Meet Keiko Furoshiki, the family-founded brand fusing Japanese tradition and artistry with sustainable design. For centuries, furoshiki wraps have been used to sustainably wrap gifts and double as hairwraps, handbags, and accessories. Each piece is inspired by kimono and textile designs, made in a durable fabric that’ll last for years (and generations) to come. Your thoughtful gift deserves a beautiful wrap to match.

Credit: J. Hannah, Dorsey

Plenty of sparkly objects: Dorsey’s new collection is teeming with glittering pieces that make for home-run holiday gifts (even precious stone pieces that start at $100, and jaw-dropper lab diamond accents at only $200). The J. Hannah x JB Blunk collaboration is brilliant in concept and execution. Four rings, 50 available, each engraved with its edition number on the interior.

Credo’s having a Friends of Credo sale this weekend only, 20% off. Restock on all your favorites – I’m talking OSEA, ROZ, ILIA, Saie, and other completely capitalized beauty brands – at some very compelling prices.
