Welcome to Launch Digest, where we bring you the latest and greatest product launches to hit the market across the DTC universe. This week offers a litany of new things for sprucing up your kitchen situation, from zesty citrus salt to PSL ice cream (and a special sparkling water to accompany your pumpkin carving). In the world of beauty, Glossier sweetens the Balm Dotcom deal with some cookie-flavored iterations, and a new liposomal shot promises to change the way you age. Not in a The Substance way, I promise. And I saved the best for last: lots of dreamy new clothing, from corduroy to cashmere, ready to fully usher you into Fall.

Let’s Start In Your Kitchen

Credit: Algae Cooking Club, Jacobsen Salt Co.

Looking for some fresh new twists on your old kitchen classics? Does your trusty soup recipe need something sexy and new? Algae Cooking Club launched Finishing Oils this week – one Gochugaru Chili, and the other Shiitake Mushroom. Each is made with whole spices, blended fine and steeped low and slow over eight hours in 100% algae oil. Drizzle these on your pizza, ramen, herby salad, avocado toast, autumnal squash soup, should I go on? so aromatic and exciting I almost violated the embargo to share these with you last week.

Speaking of flavorful accessories to spice up your kitchen rituals, Jacobsen Salt Co. launched a little jar that’s about to be a star player in my rotation: a bright blend of lemon, oro blanco grapefruit, and orange zested flaky salt made in collaboration with organic and regenerative Apricot Lane Farms. While you’re perusing infused salts, don’t miss the new Savory Citrus Brine, formulated with herbs, spices, citrus, and brownulated sugar for all of the flavor, and none of the clumping.

Aura Bora, never not launching something bizarre, partnered with Magnolia Bakery on an Apple Cinnamon sparkling water that leans towards the “normal and palatable” side of the brand’s flavor spectrum. (Magnolia Bakery evidently loves a collab – remember this?)

My kitchen is already half Moon Juice (not including ACB’s two kitchen manuals, which I keep above my fridge); this week, the brand launched in Sprouts. Why let Erewhon have all the fun?

In other bite-sized news: Eataly’s 2024 Panettone collection launched this week for all of your upcoming gifting needs. Erewhon launched $20 Kid’s Meals in partnership with Postmates. They won’t check your ID; you, too, can purchase a picky eater-friendly combo plate, which also comes with a drink and dessert. Fly By Jing launched Chili Crisp Noodles. ARMRA launched a limited-edition Arctic Chai flavor. McConnell’s has you covered on the PSL front with its new pint, complete with a salted caramel swirl.

A Youth Elixir & The Luxurious Manicure You Deserve

Credit: Glossier, Happy Aging

Surprise! Glossier took your Hot Cocoa, and added a Cookie Butter garnish with a Biscotti & Espresso to pair. Try not to actually eat your Balm Dotcom.

As most of us know by 2024, a radiant complexion starts with what you’re putting into your body. Happy Aging, co-created by Martha Graeff and Harvard-trained longevity expert Dr. Daniel Yadegar, is betting that you’d rather work with your body to age beautifully than inject it with temporary fixes or mask it with makeup. The brand launched this week with its Longevity Shot, a little glass bottle that packs 8 ingredients clinically proven to support cellular function and slow down biological aging by combatting oxidative stress. Key players include Resveratrol, Grapeseed, and Nicotinamide Riboside (a precursor to NAD+), all delivered liposomally for maximum absorption and bioavailability.

Marta announced this week that she is officially no longer with the brand she founded. Excited to see what’s next from her and Air Milkshake. Meanwhile, Dieux’s still plugging along with Charlotte Palermino at its head; I’ll have a fun launch to share with you at the end of the month.

Victoria Beckham is hard at work for the holidays. VB Beauty launched a few new items for your seasonal look: the sheer yet buildable Posh Balm Collection in adaptive hues that enhance your natural lip color, and new Satin Kajal Liners in Orchid and Silver Glaze.

Luxury nail salon Townhouse is partnering with Kate Somerville on a month-long collaboration, offering two treatments that combine Townhouse’s signature nail artistry with nourishing skincare. Book the Townhouse x Kate Somerville treatment, and you’ll get a complimentary Skincare Gift Set (in addition to some freshly polished nails).

Before You Go…

Credit: Nori, Petite Plume

Printworks collaborated with Vanity Fair on two limited-edition photo albums featuring VF covers from 1927 and 1929 – a no-brainer holiday gift, already sorted in October. Parachute and Petite Plume launched a capsule collection of 100% Peruvian Pima Cotton pajamas, which make a very compelling case for getting into your PJs at 5PM. Nori and La Ligne partnered on a high-performance fabric shaver to remove pills and lint from your most well-loved and well-worn cashmere (perhaps from La Ligne).

Everyone’s launching holiday collections. Whether you’re planning to purchase or just engaging in some harmless window shopping, these lookbooks are rife with inspiration for refreshing classics – or investing in some. Ciao Lucia’s collection, which I’d wear exclusively from now through January, brings back bubble skirts, a tailored set that answers many of my prayers, and a skirt I need terribly, and not just because we share the same name. I desperately needed to ID the shoes styled with the skirt; if you also find yourself fiending for them, here they are. Doen’s Holiday Chapter One has me breaking out my tights, mini skirts, kitten heels, and cardigans. MOTHER’s first “Party” drop rolls out the label’s reliably great denim and a color palette that pairs well with Halloween and Scorpio season. Alex Mill’s October collection is as classically great as ever, emphasis on classic; I think I could wear these corduroys and trousers every month of the year, weather be damned. &Daughter has officially branched into Menswear. If you need a gift for your boyfriend or to dress like my dream man, look no further!
