Green Bananas For Your Bathroom
If you’re not yet hip to the holy grail that is Soft Services – well, quite frankly, where have you been? Known for their performance-oriented body skincare which is refreshingly gender-neutral, environmentally conscious, and obviously chic, the brand launched a new iteration of its best-selling Buffing Bar that’ll transform your shower into a verdant jungle oasis. It will also, for the record, transform your skin into the softest it’s ever been. The new Green Banana Buffing Bar smells like a not-quite-ripe banana fruit, sweet and lush, grounded by base notes of tonka bean and musk. Superfine sanding crystals within a moisturizing base slough away dead and rough skin, because who has time for those descriptors come summer?
The Beverage Digest
This week, the DTC beverage gods have blessed us with a bevy (pun intended) of new and shiny objects, alcoholic and non – and even a literal shiny object to serve as an accessory for your favorite bottle of bubbles. I’ll stop speaking in riddles, promise.
SunSip, the prebiotic soda from the gut-lovers over at Health-Ade, debuted a new Lemon Lime flavor. It’s tart, fruity, and packed with B Vitamins, Selenium, Zinc, and (of course) prebiotics. It’s also already sold out online. Hit that notification button or go hunting at your local Whole Foods.
Meet Bawi, the brand making better-for-you agua fresca with all of the flavor – and less of the added sugar. Founder Victor Guardiola grew up in Monterrey, Mexico, raised on the delicious fruity flavors of agua fresca. After growing up and leaving Monterrey, Victor wanted that nostalgic taste, but with a modern twist (and, importantly, without all of the added sugars that were aplenty in Mexican drinks already popular in the U.S.) The product? Bawi, a sparkling agua fresca made with natural fruit juice and just a touch of cane sugar. Order the variety pack to get hooked on lime, passion fruit, and pineapple. Tastes sweetest by the ocean.
Cameron Diaz’s wine enterprise Avaline introduced a full-bodied Chardonnay this week with notes of pear, oak, ripe apricot, and almond. Made with organic grapes and no added sugar or concentrates, best enjoyed on hot afternoons from now through August.
Never let your Lambrusco fall flat again. Alcohol-free wine brand NON collaborated with Vert Industrial Design House to launch a geometric, minimalist bottle stopper that preserves carbonation and freshness for up to seven days. Whether you’re saving the rest of your 0.0% ABV Salted Raspberry and Chamomile for tomorrow or preserving your favorite pet nat, this space-age stopper has it covered (literally).
Bronze, Glow, Brighten
Why choose one when you could have all three? Goop is joining the complexion bronzing bandwagon (hot on the heels of Vacation and Merit, and soon to be followed – a birdie tells me – by clean beauty darling Saie) with a Summertone Bronzing Gel. It’s a hydrating, antioxidant-infused bronzing gel, designed to leave a shimmerless sun-kissed glow – so you can have Gwyneth’s post-vacation glow without the resort and air travel expenses.
Kopari Beauty’s new Vitamin C collection, complete with a Discoloration Correcting Serum (the brand’s first ever serum); Moisturizer; and a sheer, SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen, works to reverse hyperpigmentation, brighten dark spots, and even skin tone all over. Finish off your newfound glow with Kosas’ new and improved Hotliner, a hyaluronic acid lip liner that amplifies lips without drying.

Before You Go…
Might I interest you in some…Linen? As temperatures climb, the L-word will only become more and more tempting, impossible to resist. Quince, the brand selling luxury pieces without the designer name mark-up, launched two very spring colorways in its bestselling European Linen and Cotton bedding. Makeover your bedroom into a chic pied-a-terre with a simple gingham or undyed cotton upgrade – I can feel the gentle breeze through the window already.
Meanwhile, I’m seeing plenty of great linen sets from Trovata. Build an entirely linen capsule wardrobe, from skirts to sets to a pinstripe green that’ll look even better near a body of water.
Nordstrom’s Shoe Sale is good right now. Don’t miss the Mansur Gavriel Ballerinas so dreamy they are named Dream Ballerina; New Balances galore; and Salomons.
Happy shopping. Email me directly – zoe@thequalityedit.com – with any launches you’d like to see in the spotlight, or DM us over @thequalityedit.
