Welcome to Launch Digest, where we bring you the latest and greatest product launches to hit the market across the DTC universe. I hope you spent most of this week peering through rose-colored glasses, immobilized by cupid’s arrow. I’m a romantic. Maybe you’re not. No matter – this week, we both win, with plenty of sweet new launches you’ll love, and only one or two in hues of red and pink.

Everything’s Coming Up Sephora
I’ll let you in on a secret: my inbox is teeming with “XYZ DTC brand just launched in Sephora.” In the early days of DTC, perhaps the biggest appeal about the direct-to-consumer angle was that said product would ship directly to said consumer – eliminating the need for a Sephora. In the last few months, it has become clear that the need for Sephora endures. (I would love to discuss where it fits into Maslow’s hierarchy; email me.)
For your convenience – and your product sampling, try-before-you-buy strategic initiatives – here are just a few of the most noteworthy contenders at your local Sephora:
- Soft Services announced its first-ever retail partnership with Sephora on the 13th. They’re celebrating the marriage with an exclusive Discovery Set ($32), featuring a trio of the brand’s bestsellers.
- Dieux also launched at the retailer on the same exact day with four products: Air Angel, Instant Angel, Deliverance, and the Forever Eye Mask. You’ll be able to test in-store starting March 6, when the products roll out at over 700 Sephora locations.
- Not new, but noteworthy: you can restock on ILIA, Saie, Tower 28, Kosas, Freck, Salt & Stone, Necessaire, The Outset, MERIT, and Moon Juice, all at Sephora. Sometimes real life is even better than a browser.

Oils For Your Kitchen And Your Dosha
What else is trending, aside from Sephora, you ask? Oils, ancient and new.
In the realm of the ancient, Deepak Chopra is making Ayurvedically-inspired body oils, formulated with unique aromatherapy blends to support your individual constitution. Shop the Ayurvedic Body Oil Trio ($148) (which incidentally seems like the perfect gift, V-Day or not) to Ground, Soothe, or Rejuvenate. Choose your own adventure (and throw in some small-batch, saffron-infused Artisanal Chocolates ($58), because it’s a no-brainer).
In something very 2024, I present to you: an entirely new cooking oil. Algae Cooking Club, an “everything oil” made from – you guessed it – algae, is the newest elevated pantry staple sensation. Why reinvent the wheel when we’ve got olives, avocado, sesame, coconut…the list goes on? Get this: algae oil uses 1/10th the land and water of Vegetable Oil, and leaves half the carbon footprint of Olive Oil. It’s also anti-inflammatory, with the lowest levels of Omega-6 of any comparable oil, and packed with healthy Omega-9 fats. Allegedly, it amplifies flavors instead of masking them, and boasts a high smoke point of 535 F – so you can turn up the heat with reckless abandon.

Self Care For Romancing Your Unique, Singular Self
Whether you love or hate Valentine’s Day, why not surrender to the romantic spirit with some indulgent self-care upgrades? Typology’s new Smoothing Eye Set ($53), which packs a nourishing collagen and polyglutamic acid eye mask and reusable silicone patches, will brighten and smooth your under-eyes, beauty sleep not required (but certainly recommended).
VIE Healing’s 24K Gold-Plated Ear Seeds ($44) are making Chinese medical auriculotherapy just a little more sparkly — while simultaneously fine-tuning your nervous system. Follow VIE’s simple diagrams, and you’re just a few seeds away from regulating blood flow, hormones, brain chemistry, and energy levels.
VIOLETTE_FR’s new Bisou Balm Trio ($75) is made for kissing (or looking kissable) in every season. Packaged in a mirrored box you’ll keep forever are the brand’s three bestselling shades in its moisturizing, matte, lipstick-meets-balm for a “bouche mordue” (just-bitten) lip that’s scientifically guaranteed to look all sexy and French.

Omnilux Launches Mini Light Therapy For The Many
Omnilux, best known for its sci-fi-esque LED masks ($395) that pack an effective skincare punch (with thousands of five-star reviews to prove it), launched a line of Minis this month, making LED technology just a bit more financially feasible. The new range of devices is designed to target specific skincare concerns, from blemishes to fine lines, outfitted with Hydrocolloid Patches for hands-free skin healing. Choose from the Blemish Eraser, Eye Brightener, and Skin Corrector, each of which will run you just $95 in exchange for countless at-home spa-grade facials.
Before You Go…
Have a smattering of delightful links. Consider sending a few bags of Better Sour to your Valentine’s doorstep, a line of globally-inspired gummy candies made from natural ingredients and bursting with fun flavors, from Guava to Ume & Pomegranate.
Moon Juice launched a Wet Sex Stack ($73). Aside from pushing the boundaries of how raunchy a “wellness” brand can get, it’s also just an accurate representation of the bundle: hydrate with the new Pomelo Mini Dew, and stoke your sexual fire with some Sex Dust. It’s called multi-tasking, honey.
Superfood latte brand Blume has joined the gut game this week with the launch of its SuperBelly, a line of powders designed to hydrate, deliver magnesium and Vitamin C, and pack in probiotics. There are too many cooks in the kitchen hovering over the cauldron of gut health and hydration, but that evidently is not stopping anyone!
Jot’s extended Valentine’s Day sale – and subscription – are the V-Day treats that keep on giving. Until the 20th, subscribe to the Vanilla or Original coffees and receive a free limited-edition Caramel bottle with code CARAMELVDAY. All subscribers benefit from free shipping and 25% off all future orders, both of which might come in handy in the next few weeks, as I’ve been told the brand is launching a nutella-inspired flavor that’ll pair well with your crunchy Ghianduja. More on that later this month.
