As freshmen, Lucy, Bree, and Pippa stepped onto the campus of Baird College with enviable personal styles. Now that season two of Tell Me Lies is streaming, you might be itching to pair a tight mini skirt with a cropped knit top or don a girly camisole over low-waisted jeans. Whether you’re more of a Diana and prefer edgier leather accents and structured tops, or you love Lucy’s romantic and feminine style, there’s plenty to explore in the wardrobes of the ladies of Tell Me Lies. We found some of our favorite fits in the real world so you can dress the part while waiting to see what happens to the gang in season three.
Lucy’s now-iconic look in the wedding scenes is the retired Twilight dress from Reformation. Though you may not be able to find that exact silhouette and pattern in stores now, the brand has a very similar and equally romantic Nadira dress that will fit the bill.

Lucy’s ribbed blue top has a square neckline that seems to be her signature style. It’s cute here with jeans, but could be dressed up with a mini skirt for a dressier occasion. The original shirt from Veronica Beard is from a past season, but the designer has an updated silhouette with a little more flounce in the sleeves. You can also find a solid dupe on Amazon for less than $10.

Diana looks as chic and put together as ever in this brown off-the-shoulder bodysuit in the second episode of season two. It has a cool structured neckline and flattering ruching that’s sexy enough for date night, but we wouldn’t put it past Diana to wear this ’fit to class.

Pippa layers this mesh top with a black cami season 2. It’s from the Free People x Tell Me Lies collab line, which is a treasure trove of TML-inspired looks, several of which are sported on screen, including this black top with lace-capped sleeves worn by Lucy.

Lucy wears this cute cropped and cut out top in episode eight of season two. Though she pairs it with a pink thong in the show, I’d suggest a mini or jeans to complete the look.

Diana is a master of pairing flippy pleated minis with knit tops, usually with a cutout or two. This vegan leather skirt from Alice & Olivia is all you need to channel her style. Plus, it’s a classic piece you can style in hundreds of ways.

This skirt makes an appearance in Lucy’s wardrobe in episode seven of season two. It’s an edgy transitional piece for fall to pair with boots, stockings, or, like Lucy, a black knit sweater.

We found Bree’s cozy suede sherpa jacket worn in season two, episode six, on Amazon. The fuzzy collar, genuine leather construction, and cute red detailing make this a cozy but sophisticated layer for late fall. And you can’t beat the price.

Sadly, we may be waiting a minute for season three of Tell Me Lies to grace our screens. Nothing is confirmed yet, but in an interview with Variety, creator Meaghan Oppenheimer sounded optimistic that the show would be re-upped. In the meantime, we can take our fashion cues from the ladies of Baird College and work a little of that late-aughts style into our looks.
