It’s no secret that Quality Editors love Brightland, the cult-favorite California brand known for its premium olive oils, vinegars, and even candles -- all ultra-fresh and harvested locally. Today, Brightland launches its latest limited-edition product in collaboration with Oishii, the largest indoor vertical strawberry farm.
LUSH, a unique strawberry vinegar that captures the exceptional sweetness and fragrance of Oishii’s coveted Omakase berries, is Brightland’s first vinegar created in partnership with another brand. The partnership is a natural fit: the two brands are both committed to craft, quality, and flavor.
Oishii -- aptly, the brand’s name translates to “delicious” in Japanese -- is transforming agriculture through vertical farming. By merging nature and technology, Oishii is able to recreate the ideal elements of rain, air, heat, light, and nourishment to grow the perfect fruit year-round. Hence the birth of the brand’s iconic Omakase Berry, a special Japanese strawberry variety grown without pesticides in the company’s flagship vertical farm in Kearny, New Jersey.
Brightland, TQE’s favorite brand for elevated pantry essentials, supports small US-based family farms with their sourcing practices. Prioritizing transparency and traceability, Brightland promotes living in a golden state through conscious production and consumption. Aishwarya Iyer, founder and CEO of Brightland, shares: “We are delighted to partner with Oishii on LUSH. We greatly admire Oishii’s commitment to quality, craft, and flavor, while pioneering sustainable indoor agriculture techniques.”
LUSH beautifully marries the essence of the Omakase berry, long summer days, and the season’s vibrant bounty -- and is best enjoyed with cocktails, summer fruit, and soft-ripened cheese. I’m adding mine to spritzes and salads alike (and, when I’m not using it, the bottle makes a stunning addition to my kitchen counter). My weekend plans involve creating this LUSH Strawberry Shrub from Noreen Wasti, Brightland's Chef in Residence.
Available for a very limited time only (emphasis on very -- it’s sure to sell out soon), LUSH retails at $25 on Brightland’s webshop.
