Read on for the latest.
Sandy Liang Celebrates The Year Of The Rabbit
Sandy Liang debuted a capsule collection (emphasis on capsule) for the Lunar New Year, full of cool-toned accessories that feature a bunny motif in an adorable nod to the Year of the Rabbit. Much like everything Liang has made in the last few years, the cohesive family of accessories is perfect, gracefully balancing between playful and sophisticated. Some of the highlights of the collection, like the Jade Terminator Necklace, are already sold out. You’d be wise to get these studs in your cart ASAP.
Madhappy And Ugg Keep You Cozy Until Summer
It seems like Madhappy launches a new collaboration every other week. Beloved by finance bros from Venice to Miami and teenagers with unnecessary allowances at The Grove alike, the streetwear brand is prolific, and just introduced its latest partnership: a crossover with UGG. The superstar of the collection is the UGG Classic Ultra Mini Boot, with cross stitching details and rich hues exclusive to the collaboration that are sure to sell out before the end of this sentence.
Intimates For Valentine’s Day – From Flirtatious Mesh To Perfect Matches
It’s mid-January, so if you’re looking to refresh your bedroom attire for the most romantic moment of the year (according to the Gregorian calendar and the holidays we’ve socially agreed upon), you’ll need to order some limited-edition launches today. At the latest!
AAPI-owned sustainable label Find Me Now is bringing back its best-selling Second Skin lurex mesh intimates with a special romantic twist. Shop the dainty sets in new Ruby, Primrose, and Ivory colorways, all packaged in limited edition Sweetnothings Boxes. And it gets even more tantalizing: the entire collection is buy one get one 20% off, making it an extra-fabulous gift (to yourself or someone you adore).
If you blush at the thought of overtly feminine mesh lingerie, MeUndies might have something a little more up your – and your partner’s – alley. The brand just launched its Valentine’s Day Collection complete with something for everyone, including matching pairs for your other half. And just yesterday, the brand launched Lace Pajama Sets, ideal for bringing a little flirtation to movie nights and cozy dates by the fire.
For Wearing Nothing…But A Dab Of Fragrance, from $27
Are you forever in search of a signature scent that doesn’t already smell like half of your city? (I’m looking at you, Santal 33.) Enter: Ourside, the luxury clean fragrance brand that just launched last week with a young Harvard Business School grad at its helm. These aromas are not messing around. Inspired by the power between scent and memory, founder Keta Burke-Williams launched with just three distinct, edited fragrances: Moon Dust, an earthy citrus and bergamot; Dusk, a fig-forward amber; and Nostalgia, a woodsy jasmine. Drop $27 on the Discovery Kit and put an end to your signature scent struggle for good.
CAP Beauty x Spring & Mulberry: An Aphrodisiac Match Made In Heaven, $16
Clean beauty purveyor CAP and the hottest new date-sweetened chocolate brand Spring & Mulberry have joined forces to create a limited-edition Goji, Coconut, Nigella Seed Chocolate Bar that just launched on Wednesday. It sounds too good to be true, but I’d never lie to you – particularly as it pertains to chocolate. Sure, it’s a great Valentine’s Day treat full of natural aphrodisiacs like dates and cacao, but I’ll be buying a stash to last me far beyond February. (So yes, this will probably sell out soon.)
Newly Launched DTC Brands Lean On Old-School Retailers
Eyes on a new trend, demonstrated by some new brands: DTC snacks repped in IRL marketplaces. While cutting out the retail middleman might have been the whole conceptual “point” of the DTC movement, we’re no longer at its inception. Newer brands are earning cachet and consumer attention via select retailers. Buoy and Popadelics, hydrating wellness drops and crunchy mushroom chips, respectively, just launched in Urban Outfitters. And if you browse the UO site, you might notice some TQE favorites like Kin, The Caker, and OffLimits. The middleman might not be totally out of the picture.
