I have such sweet memories of Valentine’s Day as a kid – crafting little notes to swap with my classmates, unwrapping pink and red Hershey’s kisses, and opening the gift basket my mom would leave out for us on the breakfast table. Of course now that I’m a parent, I want to recreate all of these magic moments for my own children, starting with crafting the perfect Valentine’s Day gift basket. It’s an amazing way to shower kids with love and give them a few (non-candy) treats to brighten their spirits during the winter season. Here’s a roundup of what I’m including in my baskets this year, plus a few extra ideas, too.

From one of my favorite bath product brands comes this limited-edition Valentine’s Day bath bomb set. I love that they’re on the smaller side, so even the littlest toddlers will be entertained. Plus, even though they’re scented, these bath bombs are 100% natural and made with the most basic clean ingredients. The sweet guava and coconut scents are fun for kids to mix and match and honestly, anything that gets my kids in the bath is a win in my book!

Themed pajamas are a staple for every holiday in our house, and Valentine’s Day is no exception. This time though, I’m gifting my kids these sweet pajama packs that include an organic toddler pillow and wait for it…a tiny matching doll sleep sack for your toddlers’ mini-valentine. I mean, how cute is that? Even better, it’s functional too – designed to help reinforce bedtime routines and promote healthy sleeping, the doll sleep sack is perfect for pretend play.

We love everything Super Smalls, so of course, I had to include this ultra-lovable “Mommy and Me” set in my daughter’s Valentine’s basket. The two piece set is covered in sparkly gemstones and serves not only as a cute dress up piece, but a perfect reminder that mom (or dad) is always with them. This has been a great tool for us during transitions, preschool dropoffs, etc. If you’re not into matching, this Heart of Gold Mega Set ($36) would also make the sweetest gift. Don’t forget to use code HEART for a free Heart Ring this Valentine’s season.

We’re back on the pajama train. I know, I know, but these are just too cute to pass up. Made from the most luxurious, ultra-soft yarn-dyed cotton, Petite Plume’s signature sets actually get more comfortable with each wash. Not to mention, we love the traditional style and sweet details, like red piping and custom embroidered hearts. Don’t miss the adorable and equally festive Je t'adore Nightgown ($58) – I grabbed this one for my older daughter who will treasure it for years to come.

For the little who wears their heart on their sleeve…err, chest. This simple but festive heart embroidered sweatshirt is made with classic French terry (95% cotton, 5% spandex) and pre-washed for minimal shrinkage. These sweatshirts are a staple in our home, and my girls are going to be so excited to don matching outfits for school on February 14th!

I’ve never met a kid who doesn’t love slime…and Sloomoo’s next level slime is sure to be a hit this Valentine’s Day. I grabbed a pot of the Love ($8) and Unicorn Waffles ($25) for my kiddos, but to be honest there are so many amazing adorable varieties (Rainbow Cake Pop, anyone?) that I’d love to add a few more to our toy cabinet. Not too dissimilar from the ever-popular playdough kits, these pots of slime feature stretchy dough with all sorts of fun accouterments like sprinkles, glitter, and more.

Ok this almost feels like cheating, since I know I’ll probably sneak a few (OK, more than a few) bites of this for myself. My family loves Three Wishes cereal, which is gluten and grain free plus contains 8g plant-based protein and only 3g of sugar per serving. Basically, the perfect alternative to regular cereal but just as great for a sweet Valentine’s Day breakfast. Or an afterschool snack. Or a bedtime snack. Just try it!
