When I first started designing my daughter’s nursery, I had a few principles in mind. I wanted it to be a calming, neutral space with pops of a light blue. “Life-Proof” Fabric For Even The Biggest Messes

Honestly, I probably should have started with this one, so I’ll just say it loud now. THIS CHAIR IS SPILL-PROOF. Any parent knows this is a major gamechanger. I can literally spill (almost) anything on this chair and it wipes right up, thanks to stain resistant and liquid repellant Live-Smart materials. Our daughter is very iffy on the bottle and is constantly dribbling or spitting milk all over the chair. Sounds gross, but it basically just rolls right off. We don’t have this chair in my older daughter’s room, but I imagine it would be great for her constant water spills, toothpaste mishaps, paint-covered hands...you get the gist. I also love that the fabric doesn't contain any harmful chemicals and hasn’t been treated with anything toxic either.
Built-in Technology
I have something to admit: when my four month old wakes up early from a nap, I’ll often pick her up and rock her back to sleep for another half hour or so...partly because I know it’s the best way to keep her on schedule, but mostly because I just love the snuggles. Once I get her back to sleep, I’ll sit there in the dark scrolling Instagram or reading articles on my phone. That’s why I’m super grateful that the Nurture& chair comes with a built-in USB charger that keeps my phone charged when I need it most. This comes in handy all the time. I also love that the chair’s features are electronically powered -- you can recline, adjust the headrest, or bring the chair back to its original position all with the push of a button. It’s just easy.
