Reader: Bikinis for curvy queens? Need a good rec!
Remi: Shopping for swimsuits can be frustrating, but finding the right brands that just get your body type makes all the difference. Luckily for you, we know where to look. Universal Standard is a size-inclusive brand that’s a go-to for basics, including simple suits to get you through those hot summer days. The brand offers all pieces in sizes 00-40 and always nails the details, like The Twist Bikini Top ($118) which is lined with durable power mesh to support chests of all sizes.
We’re also huge fans of Summersalt. The brand doesn’t just use a few fit models, they’ve measured over 10,000 women to ensure their pieces look and feel great on all different types of bodies. On top of the fit, the pieces are super cute. If you’re looking for something very feminine, Summersalt has lots of ruffles, bows, and flirty colorways to choose from like The Bow Shoulder Sidestroke Bikini Top ($60) and The Side-Tie High Leg High Rise Bottoms ($60). Kenny Flowers, Eloquii, and Left on Friday are some other brands worth checking out.

Reader: Hi! Looking for gift ideas for anything and everything!
Remi: Whatever the occasion, a great place to start with gifting is thinking of the things that person loves. Their passions and hobbies can guide you to some totally gift-worthy picks. Since this is quite a broad question there are almost too many great gift ideas on my mind, so I’m going to lead you to some of our awesome gift guides to narrow it down.
If they’re a foodie, this guide is filled with lots of interesting eats, chic tableware, and funny, food-related extras. If they’re a Cancer (‘tis the season!) check out our gift guide catered to the caregivers of the zodiac. If you want to give something luxurious, but affordable we have plenty of great options under $25 that will make them feel like a million bucks.
Hopefully this gives you some inspiration, but if you’re still stuck you can’t go wrong with a candle. I like Homesick for nostalgic options, Le Labo for a splurge, Otherland for aesthetic, and Anecdote for the friend with a good sense of humor.

Reader: Do you have recommendations for a great baby stroller?
Remi: Our amazing cohort of TQE parents at all stages chimed in here to help you find the best baby stroller in the game. Generally speaking, the guidance is that the right stroller for you depends on your needs. Do you have an only child? Are you looking to expand your family? Do you need a stroller suited for travel or city living? Ask yourself these questions before you start the search. Then you’re ready to check out these highly-rated, TQE family favorites and see which one is right for you and your baby.
The Mockingbird Stroller ($450) is a versatile and affordable choice that can expand if and when your family does. TQE founder Lauren Kleinman loves the BABYZEN YOYO2 (from $399), which she’s been using with both of her children for over five years. The Nuna Trvl ($500) is a super lightweight option that’s fantastic for travel and comes highly recommended by TQE content creator and mom Ash Jenette.
Reader: What are the best high-protein, low-sugar snacks?!
Remi: There are so many great options out there for this one! If you like savory snacks, meat sticks and jerkies should be on your radar. Epic Provisions makes meat bites ($20 for 3) and bars ($32 for 12) with unique flavor combinations, like Bison Bacon Cranberry and Chicken Sriracha. Chomps is another great brand, with 100% grass-fed beef jerky sticks ($24 for 10) that aren’t just low-sugar, they’re zero-sugar. And they’re really tasty! If you want to satisfy a sweet tooth, check out Catalina Crunch ($49 for 4). The keto-friendly cereal is low-carb, high-protein zero-sugar, and high-fiber. Plus, it’s packaged in a resealable bag making it perfect for on-the-go munching.
Reader: Any recommendations for a good basic scoop neck white tee?
Remi: Everyone needs a good white tee in their wardrobe. But white t-shirts can show wear and tear quickly, especially if you wear them often, so I like to go for affordable ones when I’m stocking up on basics. Everlane’s Air Scoop Neck Tee ($30) is a great choice with a breezy, boxy fit that’s perfect for summer. Quince makes a Cotton Modal Scoop Neck Tee ($15) with soft, stretchy wrinkle-resistant cotton. I live in Madewell’s Whisper Cotton Tees ($20), but they’re currently not selling scoop neck options. If you’re open to a crew neck though, Madewell’s are affordable, lightweight, and perfectly drapey – I think I have about 5 in my closet as we speak.
