Over the past few months, I’ve really focused on improving my sleep. I’ve never been a bad sleeper, but I’ve noticed I've been feeling more lethargic throughout the day lately. After optimizing my exercise and diet, sleep was next up on the self-improvement list, and I snagged some linen bedding from Parachute after reading rave reviews online. I’m a notoriously hot sleeper (I’ve been called a ‘radiator’ on more than one occasion), and was curious to see if Parachute’s linen sheets were a match for my night sweats.

My Parachute Picks
I went with neutral, soothing earth tones...
Before I get into performance, I must quickly note that the duvet cover has helpful pockets, buttons, and ties in the corners and bottom so that fitting my duvet insert inside it is a piece of cake. The fitted sheet also has an elastic hem and covers my queen bed and mattress pad effortlessly. Making the bed is a breeze – and sleeping in it is even breezier.
As soon as I climbed into bed for my first sleep, I felt at home in these sheets – and quickly embraced that gut feeling of having a new fixation to swear by. They’re cool and airy, even in my AC-less Southern California apartment. I won’t claim that they made me feel cold by any means (these aren’t magic sheets – they’re just really high-quality linen made from European flax), but they aren’t stuffy or sticky – and I haven’t woken up drenched in sweat (sorry! I don’t like it either) in weeks.
I now swear by these sheets, and I've been singing their praises all summer long. The best part is that they're insulating, which means they'll keep you cool in the summer (check) and warm in the winter, too. They're also extremely durable, meaning you can use them year round for years to come. To better sleep – forever!
