If this winter was any indication, 2024 is poised to be the year of Jacob Elordi. Already well known and swooned-over for his turn in Euphoria, the release of Saltburn and Priscilla in 2023 skyrocketed Elordi to the A List. The lifting of the press moratorium during the SAG strike meant we got plenty of Elordi press content at the end of 2023. Through it all, Elordi turned look after look and the internet melted down. In a year when many young male actors took big swings and missed on the red carpet and in press appearances, Elordi kept things classic and effortlessly chic. Sure, it helps to be 6’5” and have the face of a 50s matinee idol, but Elordi certainly knows how to hold his own when it comes to fashion.
Whether he was championing the virtues of the tiny bag or rocking gorgeous horsebit loafers on late night TV, Elordi emerged from 2023 with a near perfect style record. It helped that both of his films last year saw him in iconic, stylish looks (that is, when he wasn’t shirtless, in Saltburn’s case). If you’re looking to emulate Jacob Elordi’s classic, timeless Aussie style, shop our edit of his best looks below.

Red Carpet & Press
Jacob Elordi’s red carpet style for Saltburn press combined the lines of classic, leading man style with some cheeky English schoolboy elements. This three piece brown suit from Burberry photographs beautifully, balanced by the little black tie peeking out from his vest.
This J. Crew suit mirrors the slim fit of Elordi’s look and features a beautiful brown color. The Ludlow is one of J. Crew’s classic suits, and this style is made from heritage Italian fabric from Duca Visconti di Modrone, a mill that’s been making luxury fabrics since 1838.

This look on Jimmy Kimmel is vintage Elordi – perfectly tailored suiting in an interesting color, wide lapel shirt, and one of his favorite accessories: the sockless horse bit loafer.
These sleek horse bit loafers from Bass Weejuns, featuring hand stitch seams and a silver-toned horse-bit, are great dupes for classic Gucci loafers at a fraction of the cost. (And they’re currently on sale on END!)

Elordi killed it again on the Venice Biennale carpet while promoting Priscilla. He always manages to punctuate interesting suiting choices with classic elements, like this black button up underneath a textured gray suit.
This oxford button down from Buck Mason has a vintage, classic silhouette & would pair nicely under a suit. You could also rock it on its own for a more casual look. Just remember to keep a couple buttons undone for an easy, Elordi vibe.

Much has been written about Elordi’s love of tiny bags. We at The Quality Edit have no choice but to stan such a practical king. The key is that his bags always feel like they’re fully integrated into his looks as a whole, rather than added on at the end.
Jacob is an avowed vintage camera boy, so this Coach crossbody felt like a natural choice for those dipping a toe into the Elordi purse lifestyle. Welcome in, the water’s warm. Also, over 60% off at the Coach Outlet’s website!

Street Style
While his red carpet and press looks are always ultra put together and sleek, Elordi’s street style tends towards sporty simplicity and comfort. This look features the key elements of the Aussie’s street fashion: athletic shorts, oversized tees, and yes, a more casual version of his tiny bag.
These 6 ½” inseam shorts from Patagonia are right up Elordi’s street - showing a little thigh but not to a Mescal degree. These 6 ½” inseam shorts from Patagonia are right up Elordi’s street - showing a little thigh but not to a Mescal degree.

Jung Maven makes the perfect oversized tee at a reasonable price point. Their blend of cotton and hemp just makes the whole shirt hang better, even if you’re not 6’5”.

Film Looks
Cailee Spaney’s looks in Priscilla deserve a whole separate article, but Jacob Elordi’s costuming as Elvis was also incredible. This all black look anticipates his Las Vegas era later in the film.

And, of course, Saltburn. A film that literally opens with a fancam edit of clips of Jacob Elordi looking beautiful. While he’s shirtless in many, many scenes in the film, when he is clothed, Elordi wears period perfect 00’s posh collegiate looks.

The film’s noughties setting means one thing: polos, polos, polos. And sometimes a button down, or a disheveled tux, because it’s Oxford, but mostly polos. We did a roundup of our favorite rugby shirts a few months ago, which will come in handy when recreating this look from Saltburn. This option from Ben Sherman features a slightly smaller collar than you’d see in the 00’s, which gives it an updated 2020’s feel.
