Very few shows have a costume design as legendary as their story or acting—but The White Lotus has mastered the art of using personal style and aesthetic as storytelling. Maybe that’s why we find ourselves as intrigued by the effortlessly rich resort wear of its vacationing elite as the murder mystery itself.

Even though most of us (*raises hand*) can’t afford the rent-priced maxi dresses, kaftans, and bikinis, there’s still an undeniable charm. Perhaps, it’s because looking rich—whether or not your bank account agrees—has a certain aspirational allure.

If you want that effortlessly luxe wardrobe without breaking the bank, read on for our White Lotus Season 3 style guide. From Chelsea’s boho-rich aesthetic to Ratliff's Southern charm, we’ve rounded up the best looks that capture the show’s signature style. And because we’re not ultra-wealthy guests living it up at a Thai wellness retreat, this list is packed with dupes and budget-friendly alternatives.

So You Want to Dress Like…

Chelsea

Chelsea is the quintessential free spirit whose boho chic style reflects her quirky yet charming personality. You see it in her crochet My Beachy Side minidress from Revolve ($314) which immediately catches the eye for its cheeky cutout and funky motif. (Anthropologie has a great budget-friendly alternative for $128.) Wear it as a swimwear cover up (over Chelsea’s jaw-dropping red bikini, if you dare) or as an effortless piece for late tropical nights.

Piper Ratliff

The Ratliff family is bringing Southern chic to Thailand. The middle child and only daughter Piper is more muted with her clothing, pairing a virgin white lace-trim buttoned maxi dress from Ralph Lauren with Sony-like headphones. (A stylistic choice to demonstrate her law-down-low attitude.) Unfortunately for us, this exact dress is sold out but you can always count on a dupe, which Joules ($53) has readily available.

Saxon Ratliff

The oldest of the Ratliffs' children, Saxon is the poster boy for pretentious douchebro swag. We bet his closet is full of Vineyard Vines tees and Sperry boat shoes. Everything he wears is to show off his, err his family’s, wealth. That is his crew boy haircut, Brook Brother’s awkward-length shorts ($98.50), sockless Gucci loafers (1,050), and black Roger Federer sunnies ($390).

Victoria Ratliff

It’s clear that Saxon inherited his style from his mother, Victoria. The matriarch of the Ratliffs looks like she stepped out of a Ralph Lauren catalog (costume designer Alex Bovaird’s words, not mine) with her breezy khaki maxi dress — Whistles has a great dupe — House of Swain monogrammed silk scarf ($364), and Coach bamboo bag ($5,200) that screams exclusivity. Even when she’s swapping her country club couture for loud and breezy vintage caftans, she still has this aura of sophistication and properness.

Kate

I’ll say it: Kate is the best-dressed guest this season. Mostly because she’s the only one (aside from Laurie) dressed like a vacationer. She first caught my eye in a V-neck Valentino one-piece swimsuit ($1,400) that balances classic poolside wear with loud luxury. Her dinner ensemble, a Lanvin one-shouldered tier dress in distinct orange-red ($1,596), is what really caught my eye for its bold, breezy, and elegant look. You can find dupes for both fits—the Good American hot pink swimsuit ($60) is an affordable replacement for the Valentino, while this Petal & Pup orange dress ($79) is nearly identical to the Lavin original.

Laurie

Speaking of best-dressed, Laurie may not be number one but she’s a close second. That silky blue kimono-turned-kaftan ($600)? It’s the epitome of vacation chic. (Kim + Ono has a budget-friendly option!) Oh, and that colorful Zimmermann picnic dress ($595) she paired with the famous Loewe Squeeze bag ($4,100)? *Chef’s kiss.*

Jaclyn Lemon

The third member of the Kate, Laurie, and Jaclyn trio is more muted with her style but not any less elegant or rich. Whether she’s wearing that minimalist one-shoulder swimsuit from Eres ($685) or the 2006 Chanel chiffon gown straight from the runway (what a flex!), her style remains effortlessly understated. She stuns in an Alemais halter dress ($365) with vintage Chanel wedges and accessorized with a Valentino bag ($2800)— a subtle nod to her life of luxury.
