Perhaps I should start by introducing myself since I’m new to TQE community. I’m Ann Marks, founder of full feedings, an infant and toddler sleep company. I created The Full Feedings Method® which has helped thousands of families achieve consistent nighttime sleep WITHOUT having to sleep train and WITHOUT having to cry it out. We consistently see babies naturally sleep through the night around 8 - 12 weeks old following the needs-based method, and we will not stop until sleep becomes the “norm” for every family worldwide.
I am also a single mother to 3 amazing kids (including twins) and while becoming a mom is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me, it was also a big transition. To go from being able to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, to feeling like I had little time or energy to take care of myself, was a big learning curve for me. I know I am not alone in this, which is why I look forward to sharing the products that have made the biggest difference in my life since becoming a parent.
As you may already know, becoming a parent impacts the amount of time you have to take care of yourself…but you still need to make time to do it. Below I share my favorite at-home self care products in hopes that you will be inspired to make time to take better care of yourself, too!
You can’t serve those amazing little people from an empty cup, so here’s your friendly reminder to do something for yourself today!!!

Sleep
As an infant & toddler sleep specialist, I’d be silly not to share that my #1 self care tip for parents is getting adequate sleep every night. Sleep is the basis of mental, physical, and emotional health, so prioritizing that for yourself should be at the top of your list, so you can better take care of your baby. If your baby isn’t sleeping, no one in the house is, so gently working towards their sleep from birth is a great form of self-care. Infant sleep is A LOT simpler than people make it out to be, it DOES NOT need to involve crying, and can begin from birth. My affordable sleep programs will teach you my simple 3-step method that will alleviate the need for traditional sleep training.

Meal Prepping
It’s almost comical that I need to put “feed yourself” on the list of self care but I can’t tell you how many times I compromised what I ate in the early days of parenting. Not only did I skip meals unintentionally, but I also would make poor food choices that would leave me feeling worse. The key for me to eat healthily and adequately in parenthood is meal prepping for the week and Dini Klein has made this super easy for parents. Meal prepping saves so much time and alleviates the need to worry about it every single day. It’s also kid friendly if you have toddler-aged children or older.

Movement & Meditation
Once cleared by your OB-GYN for exercise, I highly recommend Melissa’s platform for movement and meditation. What I love most about her workouts and meditations are how many of them are 10 - 15 minutes, which is sometimes all the time you have to do something for yourself. I loved putting on a workout or a meditation while my babies were napping, because some minutes of movement were better than nothing. To this day, I still use MWH to move my body and calm my mind when I can’t get to the gym.

Skin Care
Prior to having kids, I was a once a month facial kind of girl, and skincare is still very important to me. My late mother instilled in me the importance of taking care of my skin, so when I had kids, it was stressful trying to squeeze professional facials in every month. After trying nearly every do it yourself facial on the market, the Hanacure All-in-One Facial is a must try. It is the best mask for hyperpigmentation, dark spots, age spots, and overall tightening. I honestly believe this face mask is like getting a professional facial at home, and worth every single penny. And don’t be fooled by the cost…each all-in-one kit comes with 4 facials!
