Ironically, I find that one of the hardest parts about training for a big race is actually recovery. In past training cycles, I’ve thought that more training is always better – so much so that I ended up overtraining and feeling sluggish on race day. So, as I began working on a training plan for an upcoming half marathon, I tried something different this time around: investing in my recovery just as much as the active training itself.
