Very few shows are lucky enough to become hits on their first go around, let alone have a second resurgence. Yet Suits, which ended its primetime run on the USA Network in 2019, is streaming TV's unexpected – and seismic – hit of the summer, shattering records for Netflix's most watched acquired title in a single week. With an eye-popping stat of 3.14 billion minutes viewed between June 26th and July 2nd this year, what's even more impressive is that all 3 billion minutes were wall-to-wall with iconique fashion.
Yes, the men of Suits might only wear… suits, but with a leading man defined by his sharkskin and a female cast rocking designer dress after designer dress, the sartorial vibe at Pearson Hardman is anything but staid. We scoured the web for matches with their instantly recognizable styles, which are timeless enough to fold into your wardrobe for any formal or professional occasion. So hit pause on that Netflix binge for a minute, or by all means multitask -- this style guide will have you adding lewks to your cart faster than you can say "billable hours."

THE HARVEY SPECTER EDIT
Sure, we could have surveyed Mike and Louis' style too… but if you're clicking on a Suits style guide, you're trying to figure out how to dress you or the man in your life like Harvey Specter, it's simply a fact. Just as our Mad Men style guide kicked off with a Don Draper tribute, we can't imagine a Suits rundown without Harvey at the helm. The man is simply synonymous with confident, conservative menswear: dark colors, peaked lapels, and premium fabrics in lieu of loud patterns.
Harvey plays by old-school, Savile-Row-esque rules, which can be an adjustment for younger, hipper viewers used to more casual suiting. But he's a master class in how attention to detail and proper tailoring make the classic choices feel bold and commanding. Below are two Polo Ralph Lauren suits, as we know for a fact he was often dressed in their Purple Label ensembles, as well as a similar option at a slightly lower price point. Just keep that tie neutral and that pocket square white. TV's cockiest lawyer would see anything flashier as a sign of weakness.

FROM PARALEGAL TO PRINCESS
Though no one rocks a power blazer like name partner Jessica Pearson, and the warm, witty Donna Paulsen gave us plenty of stunning style moments, it's Meghan Markle as Rachel Zane who provided the most compelling story (onscreen and off). Though obviously famous for her IRL style these days as the Duchess of Sussex, Markle played a huge part in shaping her character's fashion sense, contributing all her own jewelry including precious family heirlooms.
Luckily, the rest of her style is relatively easy to replicate, especially her signature uniform of pencil skirt and coordinated top. Silky materials are her go-to, with a fitted look that never feels skin-tight, which makes tailoring just as essential as Harvey's titular suits above. When it comes to dresses, she effortlessly toes the line between prim and fashionable, taking just enough risks to have personality while always staying professional. Who says tasteful has to be boring?

SUITS, MEET SHOES
No shockers here: legal footwear is all about coloring within the lines. When your options are either dress shoes or heels, the focus narrows down to the details, like the cap stitching that makes the right pair of Oxfords pop or the pointed toe that makes pumps sleek and sexy. All of the below are shoes that are right at home in the courtroom, the boardroom, or the martini bar.

THE FINAL TOUCHES
We took mercy on your wallet, don't worry. Instead of recommending you track down Harvey's Patek Philippe 5004P (valued at a humble $375,000), or insisting Rachel's Celine tote bag is the only one that will do, we found some pretty fantastic dupes from some of our favorite DTC brands. By now, you're well-aware of the Suits cast's mantra that in fashion, less is always more. The cufflinks are classic, the jewelry is slim, and those Havana frame sunglasses look oh-so-right.
SEE YOU IN COURT
Maybe it wasn't the style that got you into Suits; it was all the strategizing and secrets that make Survivor look tame. But it's rare to find a legal procedural that makes the splash in TV fashion that this one has. We'll admit that in the past we haven't paid as much attention to officewear, guilty of assuming there was only so much you can do with it, but after tearing our way through episode after episode we officially stand corrected. The above looks are sexy, sophisticated, and classically Manhattan: just like the show that keeps us all riveted. Just try them on and tell us you aren't "The Best Closer in the City."
