BEYOND THE STANDARD
Bringing it back to simplicity, some might find it odd that Shayde Beauty currently only offers 3 products. But in my humble opinion, this is nothing but a refreshing approach. Starting with THE VITAMIN C BRIGHTENING SERUM ($58), this magical solution repairs and protects your skin from sun exposure and collagen loss by encouraging healthy skin cell turnover. It focuses on helping to even out skin tone, and illuminate your complexion, which is exactly what it’s done for me. With their unique blend of Vitamin C, Green Tea and Kojic Acid, the ingredients contain anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties to fade sun damage, acne scars, and age spots. If you put that all together, you’re left with an incredibly potent yet non-irritating antioxidant serum to help brighten, smooth, and firm your skin.
This serum has truly become my holy grail. As suggested, I started using it in the morning before my moisturizer and sunscreen, pressing 2-3 drops into my face and neck, and I’ve even started to use it at night as a spot treatment for stubborn areas. My skin has been firmer, smoother, more supple, and the texture of it is bouncier as well. It melts right into the skin and has little to no scent, which I prefer. I’ve also noticed the dark spots around my eyes and the scarring from my acne spots have started to fade. 10/10 would recommend to anyone struggling with hyperpigmentation!
Moving on to THE OVERNIGHT GLOW UP ($56), which won Best Liquid Mask in The Women's Health 2021 Beauty Awards! This liquid luck’s motto is: let your skin glow up while you snooze. The overnight mask reduces the appearance of dark spots and post-acne marks. Infused with Niacinamide, Kojic Acid, Azelaic Acid, Tranexamic Acid, Coffee Bean and Fruit Extracts, this small but potent bottle leaves your skin bright and glowy! Shayde’s highly potent formula illuminates the skin and gently exfoliates. I’ve been smoothing a thin layer onto clean skin 2-3 nights a week and washing it off in the morning. I have to admit, this gel-like sleep mask is my favorite. I love how it feels on my skin both when I apply it (simply glides on) and when I wake up in the morning. My skin feels hydrated and refreshed, especially during the winter months. It has minimized my enlarged pores around my nose/cheek area, and leaves my skin plump all day long. The name truly says it all!
And last but not least, the LUXE NIGHT CREAM (more available soon) is what you need to wake up to glowing skin! This RESET overnight cream works while you sleep to brighten, firm and boost an even skin tone. Shayde’s ‘magic in a jar’ antioxidant rich formula contains power ingredients such as Niacinamide, Lemon Extract, Rosemary Leaf, Chamomile, and AHAs. Formulated to be highly potent, but gentle enough to be used every night, you’re meant to apply either to clean skin or on top of the Overnight Mask in the PM only. This product adds moisture to your skin. It’s something you can use every night as it’s great for sensitive skin too – not too heavy and not too greasy, unlike many other overnight creams. A game changer!
It’s been so special and unusual to come across a brand like Shayde Beauty. It really calms me to be provided with something so simple and beautiful, but also so thoughtful and made for me. Skincare like no other.
