When was the last time you tried to buy a piece of fine jewelry for yourself or your partner? As my relationship with my wife has evolved, so too has my jewelry shopping experience. During our early courtship I leaned heavily on the ‘family jeweler’ my parents used and referred me to. A sweet man, sure, but his storefront was in a strip-mall jewelry mart that had to buzz you in as if you were entering a high security prison. After some pleasantries where he’d ask about how my parents were doing, his sales pitch began in earnest. This jeweler, well into his 70s, had so much unsold inventory I could tell he was itching to offload which left me wondering if any of his wares were actually quality at all. After a few smaller purchases and several awkward interactions, I vowed to never return to the Valley Jewelry Mart.
Fast forward to today, we’re now a happily married couple looking forward to a milestone wedding anniversary. I wanted to get something special to celebrate the occasion, but could not bring myself to visit another diamond district IRL again. Thankfully a friend of mine with discerning taste recommended I check out Ring Concierge. Founded by Nicole Wegman in 2013, the company has done what many thought was impossible – provide an elegant, high-end jewelry experience with all the convenience, privacy, and hassle-free comfort of online shopping. But would we really feel comfortable spending several thousand dollars on a piece of fine jewelry we never got to see in person beforehand?
Upon the encouragement of our trusted friend who shared he, too, had the same concerns but had a great experience, my wife and I excitedly began our search for a classic tennis necklace. While we were intrigued by the other necklaces on the site, including the graduated and the necklace + double wrap bracelet 2-in-1 options, I’m a classic guy and so is my wife, and ultimately we opted for the classic diamond necklace. After mulling sizes and carat weights, and asking a few clarifying questions to the incredibly helpful and responsive customer service teams, we made our purchase online and nervously waited for it to arrive at home.
Just a few days later our delivery guy arrived at the door and asked us to sign for our package. We excitedly unboxed it and right away I felt my concerns start to wash away. The packing materials felt luxe and thoughtfully executed, her necklace was presented in a classy felt necklace holder. And it was then when we placed it on her neck that we let out a collective sigh of relief. It was exactly what she wanted, and more beautiful in person than even the pictures could showcase online. The clasps were infinitely secure (and it helped that she’s a triple-checker). The tennis necklace — while dazzling — can be dressed up or down, pairing well both the most casual outfits and elegant evening wear. My wife is even rocking it with her athleisure for our farmers market strolls and it never feels like too much.
Our experience was truly fantastic – all without having to leave our house to haggle with a jeweler in an unfamiliar environment. I’m not sure we’ll ever purchase jewelry without the convenience, transparency, and piece of mind that we experienced with Ring Concierge.
More Than Just Rings
Don’t let the name deceive you— there’s so much more to Ring Concierge than just…rings. The brand was seen on Hailey Bieber and is beloved for its craftsmanship, versatility, and price point. Ring Concierge understands that building a jewelry collection is a life’s work—rarely is it composed entirely of things purchased for yourself (and if it is, good on you). Usually, there are gifts from friends and family and partners (and exes). Jewelry made to last is something precious you can pass down to your children and nieces and nephews. And luckily you can find everything you’d need or want from Ring Concierge’s fantastic collection. Read on below to learn more about their core lineup.
Natural Diamonds
Luxury and an accessible price tag do not usually go hand in hand, but you’ll find abundant, reasonably priced options in 14K gold and natural diamonds. While you might expect topnotch materials to come with a hefty price tag, there are plenty of gorgeous options under $500, such as the Open Diamond Wrap Ring ($499) and the Diamond Station Stackable Ring ($298). All Ring Concierge pieces are backed by a three year warranty so if a mishap befalls your Mini Diamond Tennis Necklace ($2,998), you’re covered.

Destination for Tennis Bracelet Aficionados
Who knew there were so many varieties of this classic piece? One of Ring Concierge’s best selling options is the Classic Diamond Tennis Bracelet ($1,998) which is at the top of wishlists year after year. Fans of this iconic design can rejoice because there are many more tennis bracelets to be had: You can opt for the bezel ($2,148) version or the mini ($898) version (which is the #1 bestseller) or the mini bezel ($998) version. And if your wrist is already outfitted in more bracelets than your wrist can handle, you can upgrade to the Luxe Diamond Tennis Necklace ($3,998), which is available in two different carat weights.

Precise Sizing and 4C Transparency
Ring Concierge’s online shopping experience is optimized with beautiful photos, a wide variety of products, and information, information, information. Being as informed as possible is critical because it helps minimize the chances of a return (though if you decide to return, there is a generous 30-day return window). The pieces you select at Ring Concierge will meet every expectation when they arrive. How does RC set expectations? By providing you with a wealth of information.
Let’s dive into the Jumbo Diamond Huggies ($728) as an example of this exhaustive, abundant product information. In each earring is 10 round, natural diamonds. That covers the first C of diamond shopping: Cut. Next, we learn that the Color (second C) is I-J. Finally, we learn that there are approximately 0.46 carats per pair. The only thing missing is the clarity valuation but given these stats, you are far from in the dark and have what you need to make a knowledgeable purchase.
Fit is often a pesky factor when it comes to buying jewelry online. Precise sizing for rings is table stakes, but a selection of sizes for bracelets is much less common—and a complete game changer. Ring Concierge offers five sizes (15-19 cm) and a made-to-order option for this Inlay Diamond bangle ($2,498) so you don’t have to struggle with a too-loose or too-tight fit. Another useful size option has less to do with fit and more to do with cost: the Bezel Mini Diamond Tennis Bracelet is available in two styles, Half ($998) and Eternity ($1,448). The difference may not be immediately apparent to the eye: the Half style does not have diamonds on the part of the chain that sits on the underside of the wrist. It’s a genius design that gives the effect of a complete encircling of diamonds at a significantly lower price. Also note that rings as small as size 2.25 and as large as 9.5 are available in stock (such as the Stackable Pavé Diamond Ring (starting at $348)), and sizes 2 and 10 can be made to order.

Wide Range of Designs
No matter your style or sensibility, you’ll find something that speaks to you at Ring Concierge. There are anklets for the bohemian-inclined, three-row pearl chokers ($548) for the classic-minded, and for those who believe the bigger the better: the Round Illusion Diamond Studs ($998). I love this ingenious design, which looks like one large stud but is actually one princess-cut diamond surrounded by four marquise-cut diamonds. The assemblage feels so art deco to me.
Final Thoughts
Shopping for jewelry requires a lot of imagination. Not only do you have to envision when and where and what you’ll wear your pieces with, you also have to think ahead to you or your partner’s future self. Will she still like this style in three years? What about ten? When you’re shopping beautiful sites online or dazzled by the extra sparkly lights in-store, you might doubt if you’re feeling love or infatuation.
Every piece you “should” have is available at Ring Concierge in the highest quality and design you could ask for. It will feel great to maximize your budget whether you’re engagement ring shopping or adding a must-have tennis bracelet to your collection.
When you think of the staples that comprise a jewelry wardrobe—diamond tennis bracelet, stackable rings, timeless gold bangle—Ring Concierge provides on all fronts. While there are two brick and mortar stores in New York (and a bespoke showroom), most customers will make their purchases online like we did. Ring Concierge’s collection is refreshingly transparent, providing all the information you could possibly want to know about your diamond purchase. When I invest in a piece, the most important factors are timelessness and quality, which Ring Concierge delivers in spades.
