LSPACE Perfected Swimwear – Now They're Coming for Your Activewear Drawer

Ten years ago, after subletting a summer apartment for a few months, I accidentally returned home with a pair of not-my bikini bottoms. They belonged to the girl I was subletting from, and she actually never got them back – in fact, I still wear them every summer. 

Shopping for bathing suits – and bathing suit bottoms specifically – is a tall task (especially online). Styles get cheekier and cheekier each summer, so it’s nice to have a faithful fit I can rely on. That’s what LSPACE – the brand of these beloved bottoms – has become for me: a go-to for reliable swimwear that fits perfectly, and is quality-made to withstand the test of time. 

So, when I saw that LSPACE had expanded into activewear, I was intrigued. The brand clearly has its materials and quality on lock – and if they’re great for the beach, pool, and summer sweat, that should translate to great activewear…right? 

‍In Short: Yes

As a runner, I’m ultra-picky about my activewear. I have very little patience for pieces that sag and pinch and show too much sweat. Unfortunately, I’ve found that many of the new and trendy brands do some combination of that. Don’t get me wrong: style is important to me – but function and fit are absolute dealbreakers, no matter how cute a new set is. 

So, when I first saw LSPACE’s Total Knockout collection, I was skeptical on optics alone. 

Are these pieces too cute to be functional? 

After wearing the Contender Leggings and Uppercut Bra – to yoga sculpt, pilates, and on several runs – I realized I’d found a brand that could do both. Yes, these pieces look great – and because they’re made by a brand whose bread and butter is cut and comfort, they wear well, too. As it turns out, once you’ve perfected crafting A++ swimwear, activewear is kind of a breeze….
