Stepping Up: Brands Providing Aid To People Impacted by the LA Fires

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating fires in Los Angeles, a city our company calls home. So many of our colleagues and friends live in and are inspired by our beautiful, creative city, and we’re heartbroken by the destruction that continues to upend lives across LA.

We stand in solidarity with our neighbors: the victims, their families, and the brave responders risking their lives to protect our community. To support their efforts, we’ve made a donation to the California Fire Foundation.

Los Angeles is a city built from the spirit of collaboration and community. We are so moved by how quickly our community has come together to provide mutual aid in this devastating time. So many of our neighbors – whether individuals or businesses – have opened their doors to those in need. If you are in the Los Angeles area and want to volunteer or make a donation, Mutual Aid LA Network has made an incredible Google Spreadsheet to let people know where and how best to help.

We’re spotlighting just some of the brands stepping up to provide assistance and donations to those in need on our Instagram Stories Highlight “LA Fire” and in the list below. There is also a Google Spreadsheet here we collaborated on with Julia Beilman of The Chernin Group listing some of the many, many brands providing products to families impacted by the fires.

We love you LA 💔

2. We are donating 1,000 cans to nonprofit and grassroots organizations who can immediately distribute donations on the ground. We will share locations as soon as we have them.

3. We are doing individual outreach to every subscriber in the impacted zip codes to understand what help they need during this time. If you need anything you can email us at hello@hibobbie.com

4. We are activating our Give a Can site for anyone to be able to donate a can of Bobbie to the parents in LA who need it. To help us give cans, visit the link in bio.”
