We all know who Miranda Kerr is—well, maybe everyone except my mom, who I reference often—but literally everyone else knows who Miranda Kerr is.
She’s beautiful, bright, bubbly, and—after trying the bestsellers from her certified organic skincare line, KORA Organics, I’m confident in saying—absolutely brilliant (also, if you’ve seen her up close, you’ll know her skin is absolutely flawless). However, I’ll be honest when I tell you that all I knew about KORA Organics up until recently was that they did a Plant Stem Cell Smoothie collab with Erewhon back in 2023 that left me saying, “Okay, Miranda gets it. There are a lot of antioxidants in there, so…yeah! Cute!”
But if you meet me in the present, you’ll listen when I say that I know a lot more now than I did back then. That’s because I got to try three of KORA Organics’ bestsellers—the Noni Glow Face Oil, the Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask, and the Plant Stem Cell Retinol Alternative Serum, which all seamlessly worked themselves into my daily skincare regimen (which I’m a pretty big stickler about tbh!). I’ll tell you more about my experience, but the key takeaways were 1) organic ingredients actually matter, 2) what you put on your skin is as important as what you put in your body, and 3) sourcing directly from nature can provide some of the most potent and effective results in skincare.

Organic or…Nothing!
The story behind KORA Organics is anything but a vanity project.
As a result of her mother’s cancer diagnosis, Miranda—just 16 at the time—was awakened to how many household products in her home were filled with toxic, potentially carcinogenic ingredients. This ignited her journey towards a more holistic lifestyle and an intense passion for organic ingredients—both in, out, and on the body (the skin is our largest organ, after all!).
Not only did Miranda pursue a very successful modeling career (obvi), but she also managed to study integrative nutrition and partner with some of the best chemists in the ~natural space,~ researching innovative ways to bring organic ingredients to skincare, which simply didn’t exist at the time.
For those of us in the States, KORA Organics is a newer brand, having only been released in the US in 2017. However, KORA was actually founded in 2006 and released into the Australian market in 2009, so Miranda has been at this for almost 20 years, y’all.
Given that she was one of the early pioneers of the clean skincare movement, Miranda has created a brand that is uncompromising in its strict global standards of safety, its insistence for creating products at the highest potency and efficacy levels, and its diehard support for the environment—all the while giving us aspirational plebes glowing, radiant skin. Slay, mama!
Real Ingredients. Real Results.
Yes, it’s 2025, but the idea of things needing to be organic is still catching on (I would know, I scoffed at it for years!).
Many people argue that—as Jenny Slate’s character, Liz, from Publizity would say—”when push comes down to it,” organic ingredients don’t really impact our health or the environment that much more than inorganically grown or sourced ingredients. “This is simply not the case!” the newly minted health coach in me pleads.
KORA Organics specifically swears by organically sourced ingredients for a few core reasons:
- Better potency | The myth that clean beauty somehow delivers less effective results is just that—a myth. Organic ingredients produce up to 60% more antioxidants than non-organic ingredients, meaning you’re getting formulas that are gentle on the skin, skin-supporting, and extra powerful for long-lasting, visible results.
- Better impact on the planet | Organic farming involves less pollution, less soil erosion, and less energy than non-organic harvesting practices. KORA Organics prides itself on being Neutral Climate-Certified in an effort to reduce all greenhouse gas emissions during manufacturing. They’re also making huge strides in creating more sustainable packaging across the board.
- Better health overall | Did you know that there are over 1,328 ingredients that are allowed in skincare within the US that are banned in the EU? KORA Organics has certified all of its products through Ecocert/COSMOS, the most heavily regulated ingredient system in the world to make sure there are no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or toxic chemicals used during the growing or harvesting of their botanicals. (And that means none of those 1,328 ingredients are in their products either!).

My Farm-to-Face Experience
I’m a pretty intense skin aficionado, who has tried sooooooo many skincare products and have finally landed on a routine that basically works for me. I say all of that to emphasize that I’m always a little “suss” when it comes to trying out new things—especially products claiming to do more with less.
Therefore, when I was given the opportunity to try out the KORA Organics bestsellers, I was a little nervous. How would I incorporate them into my routine? What would I give up? Would they make me break out? Would they provide enough moisture? So many questions. My only choice was to be—as a man called me this summer—a “Big Brave Girl” (which I’ll never stop bringing up for as long as I live).
Here are my thoughts and (skin) feelings…
There is nothing I love more in this life than an effective mask that soothes, calms, and reinvigorates the skin. This mask was the ultimate exfoliator, and I totally get why it's considered one of the brand's cult-favorites. While it can be used as an exfoliant scrub or a detoxifying, leave-on mask, I opted to go “full hog” and leave it on for 15 minutes post-shower. My skin has been a bit irritated lately. I blame the fires and the air quality, but then again, so does everyone!
During the 15 minutes, my face felt like it was getting a cool, refreshing cleanup “on aisle 4.” With ingredients like organic turmeric (which is one of Miranda’s favorite anti-inflammatory ingredients, btw) and rosehip seeds, my face felt totally polished and enlivened after I washed it off. It felt as if I had set the perfect stage for Step 2, which is about to be discussed.

Synthetic retinol has been a hot topic these days with many people reporting skin irritation and sensitivity, infuriating purging, and potential harmful effects on the liver. Therefore, the minute I saw “Bakuchiol,” a plant-based retinol alternative at the top of the ingredients list, I was stoked to give this a try. Not to mention nearly 80% of retinol users said KORA Organics’ serum performed better than traditional retinol alone.
This milky serum was super hydrating and gentle. Normally, I notice my skin gets super sensi post-retinol application, so I was relieved to see things stay calm. What I really loved about it was that I could use it twice per day for more effective results vs. a regular retinol, which I usually space out throughout the week to avoid irritation. I also loved that I could seamlessly layer it with an AHA as a part of PM routine, meaning I didn’t have to overthink or overschedule my skincare regimen.

Also known as “Miranda’s #1 skin savor” and “the organic oil that started it all,” I was very intrigued by the Noni Glow Face Oil. This organic oil boasted a luxe blend of antioxidant powerhouses like noni fruit, rosehip, seabuckthorn, and pomegranate seed, promising a more radiant complexion and stronger, more resilient skin.
I used this oil as the final step in my regimen during my trial and was shocked at how nourishing, moisturizing, and brightening the results were the next morning. I was so sure I was going to wake up with that dry “pully” feeling, but no, ‘twas not the case at all! No matter what products I use in the future, this oil will always be in my back pocket, and is the ideal skin-saving solution for more stressful periods or even travel.

I’m With Kerr
KORA Organics obviously has a glowing reputation, but I’d say it’s been flying a bit under the radar in terms of how efficacious, proven, and potent it actually is. You’ll notice above that I didn’t really have anything negative to flag about the brand or its products, and that’s because I actually think it ticks all of the boxes for clean skincare.
The product portfolio also goes above and beyond one-size-fits-all-skincare (even though all of their products are safe for all skin types). Depending on what “era” your skin is in—postpartum, stressy, inflamed, etc.—KORA Organics has an array of versatile products that use an informed, nature-first approach that supports the skin and connects us more cohesively to our environment.
It’s a “yes” for me, dawg.
