I can say that I'm one of the fortunate ones to have worked at Glossier during its early glory days. I joined the brand during a period of rapid growth, both externally in terms of community engagement and internally as a company. Our expansion was so significant that we outgrew our original offices at 123 Lafayette in Soho, New York, where we had shared space with retail employees. This growth necessitated a move to our own dedicated HQ space just a few blocks away, marking a new chapter in Glossier's development.
During my time with Glossier, I had the opportunity to test and experience a wide range of products. From the now-discontinued Glossier PLAY line to innovative skincare solutions like Bubblewrap eye and lip plumping cream, I've seen it all. I even had the chance to be part of exciting initiatives, such as “Camp Glossier,” our first-ever partnership with Sue Bird and the WNBA and the launch of the hero dry body spray, expanding the brand’s portfolio.
These experiences have given me a deep understanding of what truly makes a Glossier product exceptional. When I say I know what defines a good product from the brand, it comes from years of firsthand experience and intimate knowledge of their offerings.

At Glossier, your first day is a unique experience. Whether you're joining retail or headquarters, you receive a goodie bag filled with cult-favorite products and stickers. I distinctly remember mine included a full-sized Milky Jelly Cleanser. During my first town hall that same day, Emily revealed insider tips, such as how both men and women use the cleanser for shaving various body areas. As someone who has gone through multiple bottles for this purpose, I can confirm its effectiveness.

I've tried numerous Hyaluronic Acid serums, and while they've all been impressive, I constantly find myself returning to this particular one from Glossier. Many others share this sentiment, and for good reason. HA serums can be tricky to formulate — some are too watery and don't seem to penetrate or absorb effectively into the skin, while others can be overly thick. However, the Glossier serum strikes the perfect balance with its ideal consistency. It provides an instantaneous hydrated canvas, making it perfect for makeup prep or as a base before sunscreen application.

Emily once explained how Boy Brow was created as an ode to Brook Shields and other starlets who had conventionally unpopular brows according to society's "beauty standards." As someone who had previously worked at a complexion brand dedicated to overly drawn "2016 brows" (IYKYK), trying Boy Brow was initially outside my social norm. However, I'm glad I took the plunge. Although I haven't worked for the brand in four years, this product remains a staple in my everyday routine that I will always repurchase. It gives me the feel and look of well-groomed brows without appearing overdone.

Lash Slick is buildable, non-drying, non-flaking, and long-lasting. I've recommended this mascara to those seeking a beginner or builder option, and even to men aiming for a "Boy Beat" look.

When Glossier launched its Body Hero campaign featuring Paloma Elsesser, her fearless presence captivated audiences. However, as a beauty enthusiast, I was more curious about the product itself — specifically, the body wash. Seeking insights, I asked a coworker about her experience. She described it as "not being frothy" due to its oil-based formula, challenging my preconception that suds were essential for an effective body wash. I soon discovered that despite its lack of soapiness, the Body Hero wash thoroughly cleanses while its neroli scent creates a transformative sensory experience.
