In partnership with Earth Breeze.
Around my house, we do a LOT of laundry. With 2 kids under 2 and big dogs that shed, it’s an everyday chore. Having felt both guilty and frustrated paying for essentially water with a little soap to be shipped around the country, I recently turned to laundry concentrates. I’ve tried many of them and have seen first-hand the good, the bad, and the downright stinky. Not all laundry concentrates are created equally, my friends.
So when I discovered Earth Breeze’s convenient Laundry Sheets, I was eager to give them a try. Would they stand up against the grit and grime of our home? Would they live up to the internet’s hype? Or would they fall to the stinky wayside like the rest? Read on to find out what I thought.

Feeling the Breeze
Earth Breeze is a laundry brand seeking to “absolutely change how people do laundry” by reducing, regenerating, and redistributing. Specifically, the brand seeks to cut out single-use plastics, fund ocean cleanups and tree plantings, and partner with charities to help those needing meals and detergent. The brand states they believe in authentic truths, valuing the planet and those who inhabit it.
I’ve been watching brands for greenwashing lately, but frankly, these guys seem like the real deal… like they actually want to do good for us and for the planet. They’re walking the walk by donating 10 loads of laundry detergent to those in need with every purchase of the sheets. That is ⅙ of the product that they’re donating for every purchase!
Oh, Sheet!
The brand’s primary product is their Eco Sheets, in other words, laundry detergent that is concentrated into tiny little dry sheets. Instead of going through the laborious and messy process of lugging a big jug to your laundry room, measuring it out, and dumping (and inevitably spilling) the detergent into the machine loading area, these sheets are simply put into the washer – mess-free!
With two little kids, I worry constantly about chemicals and other “bad stuff” going into their bodies. There are a few big no-nos I look for in every product we keep around our home: no phthalates, no parabens, and no artificial fragrances. These sheets tick all of those boxes – and have been tested by dermatologists. For those with HE machines, these are compatible as well.
The Kid & Pet Test
I was skeptical to say the least. How could this clean my clothes as well as traditional liquid soap? The liquid, after all, can get everywhere in the drum easily. Isn’t that the nature of a liquid versus a solid? Luckily, I was proven wrong. I actually watched as the machine dissolved the soap in cold water, which we try to use more often than not to save energy. It dissolved very quickly, meaning the soap could in fact get around to all of the clothes during the wash cycle.
When I put the soap to the test of my kids, I was pretty impressed! With the right “dosage” (e.g. partial or full sheet depending on load size), their food and spit-up stains pretty much came right out. I do supplement really intense stains with a stain stick, but overall, it matched the clean level of traditional liquid detergents. From a pet perspective, the Fresh Scent combatted their stinkiness pretty well. I’ve always paired detergent with apple cider vinegar for a powerful clean scent and I noticed no difference in the scent from the way I’d cleaned before. It was just as good!
I do wish, however, that the sheets were available in more scents. I get why they aren’t (why risk dangerous fragrances), but still, there’s nothing like selecting exactly how you want your laundry to smell in a sea of scents in the laundry aisle. Speaking of laundry aisles, I also wish they were available in more traditional retailers in addition to DTC. Sometimes you need soap and you need it stat! But, Amazon does in fact offer the brand, so you can get it next-to-instantaneously that way.
To Breeze or Not to Breeze?
Besides the fact it cleans the odors of all of the beings in my home, I just adore the simplicity of these sheets. It is really as easy as tossing it in and pressing start on the machine. And I love how there’s no more guessing how much detergent I need based on my load size. No more wasted blue goo everywhere, just simple, dry sheets. Beyond that, I just feel good about this purchase impacting the planet.
It’s not just me loving these sheets; the brand actually has over 40,000 5 star reviews on their website. If you’re even a bit curious about making the switch, give it a go. The brand offers a 100% refund. If you don’t love the sheets for any reason, you can simply email them for your money back – no questions asked. You know you want to give it a try, so what are you waiting for?
