From The Shark Tank To Our Crib: A Deep Dive Into Dreamland's Bamboo Pajamas

In partnership with Dreamland. Editor’s Note: We only select and work with partners that meet our quality standards, so you can rest assured we only endorse products we believe in.

Around our house, bedtime routines are sacred! Around 6:30 every night, you’ll find my kiddos finishing up a bath, getting their hair and teeth brushed, lotioned up, and of course, getting into their jammies. Having gone through a lot of jammies already with my 2.5-year-old and 10-month-old, I’ve learned that all pajamas are not created equal. When I heard about Dreamland’s luxe Baby Bamboo Pajamas, I had to give them a go. After all, isn’t a good night’s sleep worth it?

We like

  • Super soft bamboo fabric
  • Many cute colors & prints to choose from
  • Foot (and hand for select sizes) covers included for optimal comfort
  • Stretchy material grows with baby
  • Two-way zipper for easy diaper changes

We don't like

  • More expensive than other (admittedly lower quality) pajamas
  • Runs small from my experience
  • Not to be dried in a dryer

Heading Off To Dreamland

Founded in 2019 by Tara Williams, Dreamland struck a deal on Shark Tank with Lori Grenier helping catapult the brand onto registries everywhere. Today, they have a wide array of products  spanning the needs of babies and toddlers alike, all with a focus on exceptional quality and fun styles  for the modern parent. An avid user of the weighted sleep sacks myself for my baby, I know the thoughtfulness and the quality that this team puts into those products – but does it translate to the pajamas?

Baby Bamboo Pajamas in Forest Green

Pretty, Printed Pajamas

The Baby Bamboo Pajamas come in a ton of different colors and prints, ranging from their ever-popular blue (which I have) to pinks and neutrals for all you “beige moms” out there. As a semi-beige mom myself, I have to say, the prints are pretty tasteful and are something I wouldn’t mind seeing on my kiddos. Besides the colors and prints, the sizes of the baby pajamas range from 0-3 months all the way to 18-24 months.

Sizes under 6 months include easy-to-use “DreamCuffs®” that go over baby’s hands to prevent that dreaded nail scratching. All other sizes have a similar feature on the feet, making them footie pajamas… or not! Tonight, as I type this, my son has the pajamas on, but no cuffs since it’s 80+ degrees outside still. Come the cooler months, we’ll be flipping those over his little toes to ensure he stays temperature-regulated (and stays asleep!).

From a purely technical standpoint, it is clear that these pajamas are designed by parents, with parents in mind, too. There is a two-way zipper that allows for easy night-time diaper changes (praise!) and the fabric itself is custom-milled bamboo meant to soothe even the most sensitive skin. The fabric is 220 GSM, or grams per square meter, which is extremely high for maximum durability over time. Even the tag, or lack thereof, is designed with comfort in mind – there is no tag to avoid any irritation for your little one.

The Teddy Test

I was so excited to put these PJs on my 10-month-old baby, Teddy. He, like many babies, has a pretty posh life and already has his preferences! Putting them on him was easy and so, so soft. Teddy is on the bigger side for his age at 25 lbs, so the pajamas were a bit on the long side on his legs. He has some lengthening to do as he learns to walk in the coming weeks, but for now, I don’t mind the extra length as I soak in the last few days of his perfect baby squishiness. The material is really stretchy, so I know they’ll work on him for a while as he continues to grow.

Dreamland PJs Passed the Test

Before bed, he played around for a bit with some toys and was able to comfortably and easily move around without any issues. He’s been soaking through diapers at night (no fun for anyone), so I am thankful for the easy access with the two-way zipper. I have played around with it a bit and it is quite simple to use and much less disruptive than having to fully undress him.

Sweet Dreams, Baby

So did the pajamas live up to the standards I’ve come to know and love about Dreamland? Yes, I’d say they did. The thoughtful design, incredibly soft fabric, and multitude of color offerings make it a truly exceptional piece. My only wish is that it was just a bit cheaper, but I think the brand thought of this, as you can bundle to save a significant amount. With 30-day, easy (and eco-friendly) returns, there’s no harm in giving these pajamas a try. We’re resting easier over here with our new jammies and want the same for you, too!

Send your little one off to Dreamland with their adorable, buttery soft pajamas!
