Things To Drink, Sprinkle, And Spruce Up Your (Not So) Sad Desk Salad
I’m sorry, I have to, don’t hate me – imagine I’ve written that on a yellow post-it – but we’ve got another smoothie to write home about. In partnership with MALK, Erewhon launched “Elsa Hosk’s Scandi Summer Blueberry Cobbler” smoothie, which is what I’ll name my firstborn child, because it has such a beautiful and concise ring to it. It really is a blueberry cobbler in an Erewhon smoothie vehicle, made with MALK’s organic oat milk; a fail-proof combination of blueberries, banana, dates, almond butter, and maple syrup; boosted with the best of the best, a la ARMRA’s Colostrum, KOS Spirulina, Bio-K+ probiotics, and trace minerals; made a little more fun with coconut cream, whip, and a graham cracker crust. $22 well spent, if your priorities are aligned with Erewhon’s and Elsa Hosk’s.
If you’re looking for a breakfast option that’s just as reminiscent of dessert but a little more wallet-friendly (and available outside of the hallowed walls of Erewhon), this week brings great news. Or rather, great new flavors. brekki launched Lemon and Chocolate Coconut on Monday, crafted with the brand’s signature blend of ancient grains, almonds, oats, chia seeds, and organic coconut nectar. Grab-and-go breakfast, made significantly more sexy than a sad Quaker oatmeal packet.
But brekki isn’t the only brand to make metaphorical lemonade from lemons this week. Jacobsen Salt Co. and Fishwife launched a limited edition Infused Lemon Zest Salt, harvesting kosher salt from the pristine waters of Netarts Bay, Oregon to make your dishes sing with a little extra zing. Conveniently packed in a slide tin for bringing wherever you go, this bright collab will spruce up everything it touches, from your work lunch to a dreamy picnic spread (I’m thinking: sourdough, butter, and your favorite smoked fish). Take it from me – once you start keeping a tin of JSC in your purse at all times, you’ll forget what it was like to live such a bland life.
Speaking of tinned fish…Patagonia Provisions wants to spice things up. While the outdoor legacy name is certainly no stranger to the camp-friendly fare, this week they’re getting a little saucy (literally) with three new tinned sardine flavors: Sardines in Coconut Curry Sauce, EVOO, and Tomato Sauce. For the sardine lover who wants to shake things up?

Small Things Of Great Beauty
This week’s beauty launches aren’t reinventing the wheel or demanding any significant financial investment, but that might actually be the varietal of new product or collaboration I love most. When it comes to our Launch Digest, size doesn’t matter!
Kinn keeps up its collaborative pace this week by joining forces with New York non-toxic nail salon, Tenoverten, on a Red Nail Polish Duo inspired by Kinn’s luxe red branding. Featuring a bright Cherry red for the summer and a deeper Ruby hue to take you through fall and winter, the duo pairs well year-round with a few rings and a bracelet or two from the jewelry label itself. A match made in accessorizing heaven.
Speaking of reds…did you know that it’s almost National Lipstick Day? You might want to clear your schedule. Just in time to make your back-to-school lunch packing a little less arduous (and a little more adorable).
